This module provides a complete workflow for managing faulty and waste products within your inventory system. It allows users to record defective items, generate replacement warehouse movements, and maintain full traceability of all stock-related actions.

When a product is marked as faulty or wasted, it can be processed through a dedicated waste management flow. The module supports the creation of replacement stock movements, enabling the system to track both the outgoing faulty item and the incoming replacement product when applicable.

All operations are fully integrated with the stock management system and are recorded as standard stock movements, ensuring accurate inventory history and auditability.

To streamline warehouse organisation, the module automatically creates a dedicated “Waste” warehouse. This warehouse acts as a central location for all returned or recovered items. When a faulty item is later marked as returned, it is automatically transferred into this warehouse, keeping inventory clean and clearly separated from usable stock.

The module also tracks the lifecycle of each waste item, including:

• initial fault/waste registration
• optional replacement handling
• return status tracking
• Final storage in the Waste warehouse

This ensures full visibility over product issues, replacements, and returns, while maintaining accurate stock levels across all warehouses.

Designed for flexibility, the module can be used in environments where product defects, returns, and replacements are common, providing a structured and reliable way to manage non-standard stock flows.
