Control every business action without replacing native rights

Enable only the areas you want Advanced Rules to manage while retaining native Dolibarr permissions for every disabled scope.

Advanced Rules v2.0 adds granular authorization management across sales, purchases, reference data and payments. Permissions are organized by scope on user and group cards, combining interface controls with centralized server-side enforcement.

Permissions by scope

Each scope can be enabled independently. When a scope is disabled, native Dolibarr permissions remain in effect. All / None actions are available for every section on user and group cards.

Third parties

• Send by email, edit, delete and merge third parties
• View and delete attached files
• View, add or edit, and delete payment methods

Contacts

• Create a contact from the secondary menu
• Send by email and edit a contact
• Enable or disable a contact

Products and services

• Edit, clone and send by email
• View and edit selling prices
• View, add, edit and delete buying prices

Customer proposals

• Validate, edit, reopen, send by email, close and clone
• Create an order or invoice from a proposal
• Classify the proposal as billed
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Customer orders

• Create from the secondary menu
• Reopen, send by email, validate, edit, clone and cancel
• Create a shipment, invoice or supplier order
• Classify as shipped, billed or unbilled
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Shipments

• Validate, set back to draft, sign or unsign, reopen and send by email
• Create an invoice from the shipment
• Classify as billed, close and cancel
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Customer invoices

• Create from the secondary menu
• Edit, reopen, validate, send by email, cancel and clone
• View the POS ticket
• Classify as fully or partially paid and create a credit note
• Convert an invoice into a template and view templates
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics and access the billable orders menu

Supplier proposals

• Validate, edit, reopen, send by email, close and clone
• Accept, refuse or change status
• Create a supplier order
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Supplier orders

• Create from the secondary menu
• Validate, reopen, refuse, send by email, clone and cancel
• Create a supplier invoice
• Classify as received, billed or unbilled
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Receptions

• Validate, set back to draft, reopen, send by email and close
• Create a supplier invoice from the reception
• Classify the reception as billed
• View and delete attached files
• View statistics

Supplier invoices

• Create from the secondary menu
• Edit, reopen, validate, send by email, cancel and clone
• Classify as fully or partially paid and create a supplier credit note
• Convert an invoice into a template and view templates
• View and delete attached files

Payments

• Customer: enter a payment, view payment pages and delete a payment
• Customer: view and delete payment attached files
• Supplier: view, enter, send by email and delete a payment

Discounts and free lines

• Add free lines to customer proposals, customer orders and customer invoices
• Apply discounts to customer proposals, customer orders and customer invoices
• Apply relative, fixed or global discounts to customers and prospects

Additional protection

Advanced Rules hides unauthorized buttons, tabs and menus. Centralized server-side enforcement also prevents direct access to forbidden actions and displays a translated message when permission is denied.

Module configuration:

• Enabled Advanced Rules scopes: Products and services, Customer orders, Shipments, Customer invoices, Supplier orders, Receptions, Supplier invoices, Discounts and free lines
• All other scopes remain governed by native Dolibarr permissions
• Purchase flow: Supplier proposal → Supplier order → Reception → Supplier invoice
• Sales flow: Customer proposal → Customer order → Shipment → Customer invoice
• Direct creation of an order, shipment, reception or invoice without a parent document is not permitted in this demo

Available permissions:

• The accounts can use authorized actions within enabled scopes according to the configured workflows
• They cannot delete any attached file in enabled scopes
• They cannot add free lines or apply discounts to sales documents
• Under Products and services, they cannot view selling or buying prices
• They cannot delete product or service attached files
