What is this module for?

The Dispatching module: internal stock transfer, allows you to manage internal stock transfers.

This module allows you to have a central warehouse from which all transfers are dispatched to the warehouse that initiated the request.

Also it allows to configure a return warehouse to which returns are sent from other warehouses.

And, it removes the native functions of Dolibarr [Stock correction - Stock transfer] (remain accessible with permission).

Better to know

The module adds attributes to the warehouse card to better control the transfer and have more visibility.

1. Designate if it is a Central warehouse.
2. Designate if it is a return warehouse.
3. Designate the warehouse manager(s).

Only warehouse managers will have access to transfer / return requests depending on the warehouses they manage.

Each manager will have full access to the request that he created, and a reduced access to other requests as long as these requests are linked to the warehouse they manage.

A warehouse can be managed by several users , and a user can manage several warehouses.

In the same company you can only have one central warehouse, and only one return warehouse (If you want to remove this condition contact us, it's free).

The module is compatible with the Multi-company module

Setup:
- Central warehouse: CW
- Return warehouse: RW
- Warehouse 1: WH 1
- Warehouse 2: WH 2


Case of a request
  1. The person in charge of WH 1 Creates a new request
  2. Add the products with the desired quantities
  3. As long as the request is in Draft status he can delete it
  4. Validate The request
  5. The PDF document of the transfer is generated automatically
  6. As long as the request is in the Validated status, he can return it to draft


  1. The CW Manager Puts the request in preparation
  2. The manager of WH 1 can no longer perform actions on the request
  3. The CW manager Sends the request


  1. WH 1 manager Receives the request
  2. On receipt of the request the CW stock is decremented the WH 1 stock is incremented
  3. The 2 movements are entered in the list of stock movements

Case of a return
  1. The manager of WH 1 Creates a new return
  2. Add the products with the desired quantities
  3. As long as the return is in Draft status he can delete it
  4. Validate The return
  5. The return PDF document is automatically generated
  6. As long as the return is in the Validated status, he can return it to draft


  1. WH 1 manager Ship the return
  2. The manager of WH 1 can no longer perform actions on the return
  3. The RW manager Receives the return
  4. On receipt of the return, the stock of WH 1 is decremented the stock of RW is incremented
  5. The 2 movements are entered in the list of stock movements

Central Warehouse Restock
The manager on the central warehouse can create a request with the CW as a target warehouse, then he performs all the validation, shipping and receiving actions, If you want to block this functionality contact us it's free.

Disposal of products in the return warehouse
The return warehouse manager can create a return with the departure warehouse RW, then he performs all the validation, shipping and receiving actions. If you want to block this feature, contact us, it's free.
