Swiss ISO Banking – Bank reconciliation and ISO 20022 payments

Import your ISO 20022 bank statements and let the module find the matching invoices. Confirm incoming and outgoing payments in just a few clicks, or automate validation using your own rules.

Missing an invoice, customer or supplier? Create the missing records directly from the bank transaction, using the information already available. Then continue reconciliation without losing your entries or having to find the transaction again.

Record advance payments, generate rent invoices based on your contracts, and allocate charges to a ledger account. Prepare supplier payments and customer refunds without re-entering every transfer in your online banking.

Bank statement import and automatic matching

  • Bank statements. Import multiple CAMT files and manage several bank accounts.
  • Payment matching. Find the corresponding invoices, customers and suppliers using QR and SCOR references, IBANs, amounts and dates.
  • Flexible validation. Review each suggestion, confirm a selection or enable automatic validation at your chosen confidence level.
  • Remembered matches. The module remembers your associations by IBAN or name to make future reconciliation easier.
  • Find what needs attention. Filter transactions by status and confidence level to identify those requiring a review.
  • Duplicate detection. Identify payments that have already been recorded to avoid processing them twice.
  • Split allocations. Split a bank transaction across several invoices or allocations.

Customers, invoices and advance payments from your bank statement

  • Create missing records. Open the customer, supplier or invoice creation form directly from the bank transaction.
  • Reduce re-entry. Available information — customer or supplier, date, reference and amount — is carried over when creating the invoice. You complete its line items and VAT details.
  • Handle advance payments. Record advance payments and sales with advance payments from incoming transactions, according to your settings.
  • Generate rent invoices. When processing an incoming payment, create missing invoices based on the configured contracts and services.

Account allocation and intermediary accounts

  • Allocate a transaction directly to a ledger account. Assign incoming or outgoing payments without an invoice, such as bank charges, to a configured ledger account.
  • Keep unidentified transactions on hold. Use a suspense account until they can be clarified.
  • Manage transit accounts. Track transfers between your bank and an intermediary account configured in Dolibarr, such as a Stripe or PayPal account.
  • Record internal transfers. Define the accounts involved and the rules to apply according to the bank and payment method.

Payments and refunds

  • Prepare payments in batches. Find supplier invoices to pay and customer credit notes to refund by beneficiary, reference or due date.
  • Adjust the amounts. Prepare full or partial payments directly in the interface, then choose the account to debit and the execution date.
  • Keep your selection. Change your search or move between pages without losing the documents you have already selected.
  • Generate a PAIN.001.001.09 file (tested with BCV) to submit to your bank. Creating the file does not yet record a payment.
  • Track execution without duplicates. The payment is recorded from a validated CAMT debit or a PAIN.002 status confirming execution, without creating a second payment record for the same order.
  • View the history. Find imports and payments by period, account and status, with their amounts and totals. Export the lists as CSV files.
  • Retrieve your files. Download the original again or regenerate a file after corrections, where its status allows.
  • Cancel a file within the module. Make its documents available for selection again where the file’s status allows. This action does not cancel any order with the bank.
  • Record refunds received from suppliers. Link them manually to the corresponding credit notes.

⚠️ Salaries and expense reports are not yet included in payment generation.

Administration and settings

  • Choose the available functions according to your needs and enabled modules.
  • Customise matching. Define the rules, their priorities, matching criteria and date tolerances.
  • Choose your level of automation. Set the confidence level required for automatic validation and keep manual control over other transactions.
  • Configure your banks. Set up bank accounts and PAIN export settings, with a choice of SIX, BCV or PostFinance profile.
  • Adapt accounting treatments. Configure ledger and transit accounts, advance payments, rents and transaction descriptions.

Formats and banks

ISO 20022, 2019 version, with CAMT .001.08 messages and pain.001.001.09 payment files. Imports have been tested with CAMT.053 statements from BCV and PostFinance. The reader also recognises CAMT.052 and CAMT.054; these should be checked against your bank’s files before use.

Imported statements use amounts booked in CHF. Payments can be prepared in CHF or EUR, provided the company, bank account and documents all use the same currency.

Other banks using ISO 20022 may also be supported, with compatibility adjustments if necessary.
