Email domain changer

The Email domain changer module replaces the domain part of email addresses across your whole Dolibarr database in a single, controlled operation. Ideal after a rebranding, a company acquisition or a domain migration.

Key features:

• Change the domain of third parties, contacts and optionally members.
• Preview every change before applying: old address struck through, new one in green.
• Row-by-row selection: apply only the changes you want.
• Safety cap on the number of rows processed at once (configurable).
• Transactional: all changes are committed together, or rolled back on error.
• Optional history log of every operation (date, user, old/new domain, counts).
• Dedicated settings page to manage all options.

Compatible with Dolibarr V19 to V24. Permission-controlled and CSRF-protected.

Tested on Dolibarr 19.0.4, 20.0.4, 21.0.4, 22.0.5, 23.0.4, 24.0.1 and 24.0.2, with PHP 8.2; syntax checked with PHP 7.4, 8.3 and 8.4.

Limitations and exclusions

• Only the email address of third parties, contacts and, optionally, members is changed: not user accounts, nor addresses written in documents, events or mass emailing campaigns.
• One domain per operation, with exact matching: addresses on a subdomain are not changed.
• Direct database write: Dolibarr's triggers are not run and no event is created in the agenda.
• The module only checks that the new domain has the form of a domain name, not that it exists.
• Interface in French and English.

• Problems in Dolibarr itself or in other modules: an opinion and a lead when possible, with no commitment to a result.
• On-call service: no evening or weekend cover.
• Orders, invoices and refunds: handled by the DoliStore.
