Features

• Interactive map (Leaflet) with automatic clustering of nearby points, colored according to the worst status in the group.
• Base map chosen by each user from the Options menu: IGN Plan (default), IGN aerial photos, OpenStreetMap France, OpenStreetMap, and three CARTO styles (Voyager, Positron, Dark Matter) with a free key. On CARTO base maps, place names are displayed in the user's language.
• Marker color based on the date of the last event, with fully configurable age thresholds (any number of thresholds, free labels and colors).
• Nature of the last event (visit, call, email...) shown as a letter badge on each marker, independently of the color. The list of natures is configurable, or can be disabled.
• Logos on markers, with an automatic fallback cascade: banner logo uploaded from the module configuration (no SSH/FTP access needed) → otherwise, logo already present on the Dolibarr third party card → otherwise, logo automatically retrieved from the third party's website (optional) → otherwise, colored initial of the third party's name.
• Combinable filters: third party type (prospect/customer), age of the last event, nature of the last event, banner (based on existing Dolibarr categories). Filters, base map and selected layers are remembered from one session to the next.
• Map layers that can be toggled on/off: departments (number always visible, full name on hover/tap), regions, and custom sectors managed through an admin table (name + departments + color).
• Detailed third party card directly on the map:
  • status and last-event nature badges, clickable main phone number;
  • "Events" section: "+ Add" button to record an event (nature, date using the Dolibarr calendar, report) and history of previous events, filterable by nature;
  • "Contacts" section: people attached to the third party (title, last name, first name, position, clickable phone numbers, email, public note), with a "+ Add" button to create a contact without leaving the map;
  • the card stays open after an addition; on mobile, it takes the full width at the bottom of the screen and can be expanded by dragging its handle.
• Automatic logging in the third party's Dolibarr agenda, with a dedicated extra field that lets the module recognize these events even when they are created manually from the third party card rather than from the map.
• Automatic geocoding of missing addresses through the Base Adresse Nationale (tries the full address, then "third party name + postal code + city" as a fallback), in batches, and can be interrupted at any time.
• Route building and optimization: select points on the map (lettered A, B, C... in selection order), optional start/end points with autocomplete or a "My current location" button, automatic choice of the best start/end if not specified, computation of an optimized visiting order, then export to Google Maps. The format sent for each stop is configurable: postal address (default, most reliable), third party name, or GPS coordinates.
• Sales confidentiality: a user without the Dolibarr permission "See unassigned third parties" only sees the third parties for which they are declared as sales representative.
• Multicompany compatible: third parties, contacts, events and banners are filtered according to the active company and its sharing rules; settings and banner logos are specific to each company.
• Designed for the field: Options panel as a sliding sheet on mobile, larger touch targets, a button to hide the Dolibarr menu and gain space, styling aligned with the active Dolibarr theme.
• Built-in user guide, accessible from the map to any user of the module.

Configuration

Available in Home > Setup > Modules/Applications > CRMap (setup icon), Settings tab.

Usage

The map is accessible from the Dolibarr main menu (CRMap entry). The Options panel, overlaid on the map, groups filters, base map, layers and route building. On mobile, it collapses behind an Options button.

• Filters: Third parties (prospect/customer), Events (age of the last event), Last event (nature), Banners (with check/uncheck all), Base map, Layers (departments/regions/sectors).
• Third party card: click on a marker → status, "Route" checkbox, "Events" section ("+ Add" button and history), then "Contacts" section ("+ Add" button).
• Geocoding: dedicated button in the panel, processes third parties in batches.
• Route: tick "Route" on the relevant cards (a letter A, B, C... appears on each selected marker, and the summary list in the panel lets you check/remove a point), optionally enter a start/end, then click "Optimize route" to open the itinerary in Google Maps.
• Help: the "Help" link on the map opens the user guide.

Version 1.10

• Selectable base maps: fixes the "API KEY REQUIRED" error shown since August 28, 2026 (CARTO now requires an API key). IGN Plan by default, IGN aerial photos, OpenStreetMap, CARTO styles with a free key. Existing installations automatically switch to IGN Plan.
• Configuration fix: saving one section no longer wipes the settings of the other sections. After updating, check your settings and re-enter any that were wiped.
• Multicompany compatibility: every piece of data read or written is checked against the accessible companies and their sharing rules; banner logos are specific to each company.

Updating from a previous version

Download the new package, deploy it over the old one, then disable and re-enable the module (required to resync its permissions).
