In a restaurant, every minute counts. One dropped connection and the register freezes, orders are lost, customers wait. DoliOffline removes that risk entirely: your terminal keeps working offline, and everything falls back into place on its own the moment the connection returns.

Built for unstable-network environments (Africa, remote sites, frequent outages), DoliOffline turns your DoliTable setup into a resilient point of sale you can trust during service.

✨ What DoliOffline does

• 📶 Works 100% offline. Take orders and cash payments with no connection at all. Data is stored locally on the device (IndexedDB) and survives a page reload or a device restart.

• 🧾 Smooth order taking. Pick the table (grouped by area), browse the menu by section (Starters, Mains, Desserts, Drinks), build the cart and validate — the exact same menu as your online DoliTable.

• 💳 Offline cash register. Cash or Mobile Money payment of orders awaiting settlement, right from the terminal.

• 🖨️ Thermal tickets. A kitchen ticket is printed when the order is validated (items and quantities, no prices) and a customer receipt when the payment is taken — on the terminal's printer, with no special driver required.

• 🔄 Automatic, reliable synchronization. When the connection returns, DoliOffline creates the invoices, the payments and the DoliTable orders, and decrements stock — with a strict idempotency guarantee: no duplicates, even if the network drops again mid-sync.

• 📦 Stock respected. Out-of-stock products cannot be ordered (greyed out as "Sold out"), and stock is decremented on synchronization, exactly like your cash register terminal.

• ⚡ Instant network detection. Near-instant switch to offline and back to online, with a clear status banner so staff always know the current state.

• ✅ 100% real catalog data. The products shown come only from your Dolibarr catalog — no sample data whatsoever. A dedicated admin screen lists, live, exactly which products will be synchronized.

🔁 How it works

1. Online — your tables, products and categories are pre-loaded locally (a banner confirms "X products synchronized").
2. Outage — an "Offline mode" banner appears. You take orders and cash payments as usual; everything is saved on the device.
3. Back online — synchronization starts on its own. You confirm in the "Sync status" screen that everything went through (invoices, payments, stock).

To double-check a sync: open Accounting → Customer invoices (a validated, paid invoice per order) and the sold product's card (stock decremented).

👥 Who is it for?

Restaurants, bars, cafés and points of sale running DoliTable, especially in areas with unstable or intermittent internet access — where a single outage can cost a whole service.

🧩 Requirements

• DoliTable module installed and enabled.
• Dolibarr 18 to 22+, PHP 7.4+.
• For stock decrement: the Stock module enabled and a warehouse configured (the module reuses your TakePOS cash register warehouse automatically).
• A thermal printer set as the terminal's default printer for ticket printing.
