Version History brings together the action history of Dolibarr objects: invoices, third parties, products, orders and other objects emitting events supported by the module. Each entry identifies the action, user and date. Available data from before and after a change helps you understand what changed.

Deleted document history

The improved display uses existing logs for indexed documents whose deletion emits the ECMFILES_DELETE event. Filter by action DELETE and object type ecmfiles to find these entries. Older entries containing the filename also benefit from this display.

Unindexed files, deletions with events disabled, and files deleted directly through FTP or on the server are not covered. The module does not retain file contents or restore deleted files. These entries follow the same cleanup and deletion rules as the rest of the history.

Use cases

Internal checks, reviewing user actions, investigating unexpected changes and identifying a deleted document.

Installation

  1. Copy the module folder to Dolibarr’s /custom/historiqueversions directory.
  2. Open Home → Setup → Modules / Applications and enable Version History.
  3. Grant history viewing permissions to the relevant users.

The deleted document display requires no database migration.
