Weekly Weather Planning — See Your Whole Week in One View

DoliWeather adds a dedicated Weather Planning page to Dolibarr. All your agenda events for the coming days are listed with their weather forecast side by side. Every line is color-coded by alert level. You assess your entire week in seconds.

• 🟡 Watch — Rain risk or moderate wind
• 🔴 Alert — Storm, heavy rain, dangerous wind

Each row shows: event date, time, label, location, weather condition, min/max temperature, precipitation probability, and max wind speed. A one-click filter surfaces alerts only — immediately identify which jobs need rescheduling.

Forecasts are pulled per event location. If the event location field is filled in, DoliWeather fetches the forecast for that specific address — not a generic default city.

Note: The WeatherAPI free plan covers 3-day forecasts. Events beyond day 3 remain visible but without weather data. A WeatherAPI paid plan unlocks the full 7-day planning horizon.

Event Card — Hourly Forecast for That Day

Open any agenda event and DoliWeather displays the forecast for that exact date and location: condition, min/max temperature, precipitation, wind alert level, and an hour-by-hour breakdown from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Know whether rain arrives at 2 PM or 8 PM before committing your team to a site. That is operational weather intelligence.

Dashboard Box — Current Conditions at a Glance

Add the DoliWeather box to the Dolibarr homepage: current weather, 3-day forecast, air quality index (AQI), and sunrise/sunset times — in one compact widget. Data is cached locally to keep API consumption low regardless of how many users reload the page.

1. Install & activate — Drop the module into custom/doliweather/ and activate it from the modules list.
2. Get your free API key — Create a free account on weatherapi.com (100,000 calls/month, no credit card required).
3. Configure — Paste your key, set your default city, define your alert thresholds.
4. Open Weather Planning — Your agenda, your events, your weather. One page.
