Collab Track is a module for Dolibarr designed for teams who work with several people on the same documents (quotes, orders, invoices).

It lets you visualize which collaborators are connected to the same document as you and find out whether they are simply reading or making changes in progress.

Objective: avoid conflicts and data loss

When two users are simultaneously editing the same document, there's a risk that one will unintentionally overwrite the other's changes.

Collab Track prevents these collisions by alerting you to the presence of other active users, and thus allows you to get better organized.

CollabTrack was born out of a real situation we were facing in our team.

Over time, my colleagues had optimized their workflows. They became faster, more efficient, and often ended up opening and working on the same documents at the same time, quotes, orders, invoices...
The issue? We do communicate, yes, but not always at the right moment. All it takes is a missed message, a bit of timing off, and suddenly: overwritten data, duplicate entries, or lost work.

That’s when the idea for CollabTrack came up:
What if everyone could simply see who is on a document, and what they’re doing?

Today, thanks to this module, every team member knows in real time who is viewing or editing a document. One quick message is enough to avoid stepping on each other’s toes, and collaboration becomes much smoother.
CollabTrack sparks the right conversation, at the right time.

This need for better coordination, without making things more complex — is what led to the creation of CollabTrack.
