Are your team decisions still made through emails, scattered polls and chat apps? CapDecisions brings the whole process into Dolibarr. Inspired by Loomio, it lets you create working groups, open discussions, submit proposals and collect votes, in the same place as your third parties, projects and members.
Working groups
- Open, private or closed groups, depending on the confidentiality you need
- Administrator, member and observer roles
- Group hierarchy with a parent group
- Members taken from Dolibarr users, foundation members or contacts
Discussions
- Discussion threads inside each group, with nested comments
- Pin the important discussions
- Insert images into descriptions, limited to the people who can edit the discussion
Proposals and votes
- Proposals attached to a discussion, with a closing date
- Five decision types: majority vote, consent, advice process, ranked choice and multiple-choice poll
- Change your vote as long as the poll is open
- Real-time results: progress bars, percentages and the detailed list of votes
- Final status of each proposal: adopted, rejected or closed
Public pages for outside participants
- Discussions and proposals reachable through a public link, with no Dolibarr account
- Sign-in with a code sent by email, behind the Dolibarr captcha
- Forms protected against request forgery, repeated submissions and abuse, with adjustable validity periods
- Moderation of public comments, authors shown by first name and initial
Requirements
- Dolibarr 18.0 or later, PHP 7.4 or later
- Members module optional: when enabled, foundation members can join the groups
- Translated into English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese
Try it on a Dolibarr installed in less than 20 seconds: dolitry.fr/capdecisions
Every feature is described in the online documentation: doc.cap-rel.fr/capdecisions
What the purchase covers
- The module, and access to its updates for the period stated on this sheet
- Bug fixes, including the ones you report
- An email on every new release
To be told automatically about new versions, of this module and of the Dolibarr ecosystem at large, subscribe on dolinews.com: that is where our release announcements are published.
Support
Support goes through our support form, not through the comments on this sheet.
Support is not free. You want competent people on the other side: it is fair that they are paid for that time. The price shown covers the module and its updates. It covers neither installing nor configuring your Dolibarr, nor training your teams, nor specific developments, nor investigating an environment we do not host.
A reproducible bug in the module is fixed at no charge, as part of the updates above.
Before buying
- Check the Dolibarr and PHP versions stated at the top of this sheet: beyond them, the module is not tested
- Modules are deployed from Home > Setup > Modules > Deploy an external module, which requires an active custom directory on your installation
- When a module relies on an online service, the subscription to that service is separate from buying the module, and is stated above
