Pivot Reports With AI turns your Dolibarr data into interactive pivot tables and charts, built by simple drag and drop.
What's new: an AI assistant creates the data sources for you. Describe what you want to analyze, as you would to a colleague, and the assistant writes the SQL query, tests it on your database and proposes a first ready-to-use report.

"I want to analyze the revenue excluding tax of validated customer invoices by sales representative, by customer and by product category, with the year, quarter and month of the invoice."

No need to know SQL or the 400+ Dolibarr tables to get the figures you need.

How it works

1. Describe the data to analyze in the AI assistant panel.
2. Check the proposal: name, description and SQL query, all editable. The assistant reads the database structure and the status labels, tests the query read only and corrects it on its own if the database rejects it.
3. Approve: the data source is saved with a default report prepared by the AI.
4. Refine by continuing the conversation ("add the customer's country", "exclude the credit notes"...) or by dragging and dropping the fields.

AI assistant

• Creation and modification of data sources in plain language, in English or in French
• Readable field names ("Year", "Customer", "Amount excl. tax"...) and codes replaced by their labels (statuses, types, dictionaries)

• 18 output types: plain tables, tables with bars, heatmaps or collapsible subtotals; bar, line, area, scatter and pie charts

• Filters by value, chart zoom, hiding of series
• Details of the records of a value: a click on a cell shows the rows it is made of
• Excel and TSV export of the calculated data, PNG export of the charts
• 17 predefined data sources and 40+ predefined reports: quotes, orders, invoices, projects, tasks, interventions, expense reports, third parties, purchases

Organization and permissions

• Personal data sources for users who are not administrators, depending on their permissions
• Classification of the data sources with tags/categories
• Access to each data source restricted to some groups or users
• Data sources in SQL still available for advanced users

Security and privacy

• The AI receives the structure of the database (tables, columns, labels) and your requests, never your business data (invoices, customers, amounts).
• Read-only queries (a single SELECT statement), tested in a rolled-back transaction.
• Nothing is saved without your approval: each creation or modification goes through a proposal that you accept.
• Sensitive tables forbidden to users who are not administrators (configurable list).
• Configurable retention of the AI logs.

Already using Pivot Reports?

Pivot Reports With AI includes all its features and imports your data sources and reports in a few clicks. Both modules can stay enabled at the same time.

Requirements

• Dolibarr 21 to 24
• MySQL or MariaDB (PostgreSQL is not supported)
• PHP 8.1 or higher for the AI assistant (PHP 7.0 is enough for the rest of the module)
• The standard Dolibarr AI module enabled, with a provider configured: OpenAI, Mistral AI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek... or any OpenAI-compatible service (OpenRouter, OVHcloud AI Endpoints, internal server)
• A powerful enough model (≥ 70 billion parameters or a recent frontier model, for example gpt-oss-120b): small models do not give usable results

The use of the AI is billed by your provider according to the number of tokens: expect about 20,000 to 80,000 tokens sent per request. The exact number is shown in the AI logs of the module.

Installation

1. Home > Setup > Modules > Deploy/install external app/module: upload the zip file.
2. Enable the "Pivot Reports With AI" module.
3. Configure a provider in the Dolibarr AI module and give the module permissions to your users.

Update: disable the module, replace its directory with the new version, then enable it again. Your data sources and reports are kept.
