Remaining to bill

In Dolibarr, an order only has a yes/no "Billed" flag. As soon as you invoice in several steps, nothing tells you what is left to invoice: you have to open each order and add up its invoices by hand.

Remaining to bill computes, for each customer order and each line, the quantity and amount (excl. tax) already invoiced and what remains:

• partial invoices, "% of the order" invoices, credit notes;
• down payments: they reduce the remaining amount until deducted, and are never counted twice;
• one invoice for several orders: spread between them, with no double counting;
• invoices created from a shipment.

A list (Commerce menu, under orders) with three views: by order, by line and by customer, with filters, sorting, grand total and CSV export. A tab on each order details the lines, the invoices taken into account and the invoice lines that match no order line.

The module flags what deserves a look rather than showing a wrong figure: order classified "billed" with an amount left, draft invoice in progress, invoiced beyond the order, edited free line, situation invoice.

Read only: no order or invoice is changed. Dolibarr's restrictions apply (a sales rep only sees their customers). Interface in French, English and German. Compatible with Dolibarr 19 to 24. Written and tested by Dolix (dolix.fr).
