Give Dolibarr the dashboards people actually look at every day. Pick a source, a measure, a dimension, a period: the widget draws itself. 29 kinds of widgets — key figures, gauges, columns, lines, pies, funnels, waterfalls, heatmaps, treemaps, lists, pivot tables, rankings — laid out on a grid you rearrange with the mouse. 28 data sources inside Dolibarr, from the quotation to the payment, from stock to time spent. An assistant builds the dashboard from a plain sentence, in five languages, without sending anything outside. And the result goes where it is useful: on the workshop screen in TV mode, in a PDF for the meeting, in a mailbox on Monday morning, or behind a public link a partner opens without an account. 

Who is it for? Managers who want to see the business without opening ten lists, salespeople following their pipeline, accountants watching unpaid invoices, project managers counting hours, storekeepers looking at stock, and anyone who leaves a screen on in the workshop or at the front desk. 29 kinds of widgets

• Figures: key figure, figure with trend, comparison with the period before, gauge, progress towards a target.
• Charts: columns, bars, stacked columns and bars, line, area, stacked areas, columns with a line on a second axis, pie, donut, polar, radar, scatter, bubbles, sparkline.
• Drawn by the module itself, asking nothing of the browser: funnel, waterfall, heatmap, treemap, bullet bars.
• Data: list as a table, as cards or stacked, two-dimension pivot table, numbered ranking with each share of the whole.
• Everyday tools: a tickable to-do list and sticky notes, signed and dated, fed straight from the dashboard.
• Every widget has its size on a twelve-column grid, its colour, its palette, its unit, its decimals and its link to the matching Dolibarr list.
• Charts use the library already shipped with Dolibarr: nothing to download, nothing to install.

• Sources whose Dolibarr module is off, or whose table does not exist in your installation, hide themselves: you only see what you can really read.

Build a widget without writing SQL

• A two-column editor: the settings on the left, on the right a preview that redraws at every change, with your real data.
• One measure per source: count, amount before tax, amount with tax, tax, still to pay, overdue, margin, quantity, weight, stock value, duration, progress, budget, weighted opportunity, average order.
• One dimension: by day, week, month, quarter, year, day of the week, customer, supplier, country, town, status, salesperson, user, product, warehouse, project, payment mode, tax rate, kind…
• A second measure laid as a line over the columns, and a second dimension for stacking, heatmaps and pivot tables.
• Nineteen periods ready to use, from “today” to “the last twelve months”, inherited from the dashboard or set on the widget, plus dates chosen by hand.
• Three filters per widget on any dimension: equals, differs, greater, smaller, contains, empty, not empty, or a list of values.
• The module writes the joins itself: asking for turnover by country joins the invoice to the third party and then to the country, without you having to think about it.

The assistant that builds the dashboard

• Write what you want to follow: “turnover by month this year and top 10 customers”. The assistant reads the sentence and builds the widgets.
• It knows the vocabulary of the trade in five languages: French, English, Italian, German, Spanish. One sentence may carry several wishes, separated by commas or by “and”.
• Or simply tick the sources that interest you: for each one the assistant lays down the figure with its comparison, its evolution by month and its best split.
• See before building: the list of planned widgets is shown — kind, source, measure, dimension, period — without creating anything.
• With no outside service it works alone, on your own server. Nothing leaves, and no subscription is needed.
• With an OpenAI-compatible service configured, only your sentence and the list of codes are submitted to it: no figure, no customer name, nothing read from the database.
• Every answer from the service is checked line by line against the catalogue: an invented source or a measure that does not exist is dropped, and the assistant falls back on its own reading.

Six ready-made dashboards

• Management: turnover and its evolution, unpaid invoices, orders, new customers, invoices by status, best customers and products, money coming in.
• Sales: quotations, orders, average order, pipeline funnel, orders by month and status, ranking of the salespeople, split by country.
• Purchases: supplier orders and invoices, amounts still to pay, expense reports, purchases by month, main suppliers, expenses by employee.
• Cash: money in, money out, late invoices, bank balance, cash by month and by account, payment modes, unpaid by customer.
• Projects: projects, budget, time spent, opportunities, projects by status, time by person and by project, tasks of the month.
• Stock: stock value, ins and outs, stock by warehouse and by product, movements by month, the products moved most.
• A template only creates the widgets that are usable at your place, and says so before you click. Any dashboard can then be kept as a template of your own.

TV mode and refreshing

• TV mode goes fullscreen and rolls the widgets one after the other: the figure becomes huge, the chart spreads out, the list breathes.
• Keyboard commands: space to pause, arrows to move forward and back, Esc to leave. A bar at the bottom offers the same with the mouse, with the progress.
• Three to three hundred seconds per widget, with a fade, a slide or no transition at all.
• Automatic refresh of the whole dashboard or of a single widget, set to the second: exactly what a screen left on needs.
• One button refreshes everything on demand, without reloading the page; a widget's own menu refreshes only that one.
• Light and dark themes, switched with one click, and six chart palettes.
• Put together with a public link, TV mode shows a dashboard on a screen without leaving a session open on it.

PDF printing, workbook and CSV

• PDF: the dashboard is not photographed, it is drawn again for paper. A figure stays a figure, a chart becomes bars carrying their own label and value, a list stays a table.
• The PDF is therefore built without a browser: a sending in the middle of the night produces exactly the same document as a click from the screen.
• Landscape or portrait, number of widgets per page, a header with the period read and a numbered footer.
• Workbook: an .xlsx file with one sheet per widget, frozen headers, automatic filter, numbers as numbers.
• CSV: every table one after the other, in UTF-8 with the byte order mark so that Excel opens it without asking. The separator can be changed.
• A single widget can be exported from its own menu, as CSV or as a workbook.
• Browser printing is catered for: bars and buttons disappear, and no widget is cut between two pages.

Scheduled sending by e-mail

• A dashboard can go out by itself, as an attachment or as a plain link.
• Six rhythms: every day, Monday to Friday, every week, every other week, every month, every quarter — at the hour and on the day you choose.
• Recipients by address or by group of users: the addresses of the active members are taken automatically.
• The period sent may differ from the one on screen: “last month” for a sending on the 1st, for instance.
• Subject and message can be written freely, with the date and the name of the dashboard inserted automatically.
• A button sends it right away, without touching the next scheduled date: the proper way to check before letting it run.
• The result of the last sending is written on the line: the date, the state and, when it failed, the error message.

Sharing, rights and public link

• Four visibilities: myself only, the people chosen, a group, everybody.
• Sharing user by user or by group, read-only or with the right to change.
• A public link with a limited life, to show a dashboard to somebody who has no account: a partner, an accountant, a shareholder.
• The page it opens has no Dolibarr menu and no links to the records, and nothing can be written on it. It asks search engines not to index it.
• The link closes by itself on the day set, and can be closed at any moment. Every opening is noted in the history.
• Eight separate rights: read, write, delete, share, queries, send, assistant, configure.
• The history of a dashboard keeps track of everything: creations, widgets, arranging, sharing, sendings, exports, requests to the assistant, public views.

Outside databases and SQL queries

• A widget may read a PostgreSQL or MySQL/MariaDB database, or a REST web service, outside Dolibarr: an online shop, a trade tool, a data warehouse.
• These connections belong to the administrator alone and only ever read.
• An explorer lists the tables of the outside database and, for the one you pick, its columns and their type.
• A test window runs a query and shows the rows and the time it took, before you turn it into a widget.
• Custom queries on Dolibarr data are possible for those allowed, with the marks {{date_start}}, {{date_end}}, {{entity}} and {{prefix}} replaced before the query runs.
• Every query is checked: a single statement, SELECT or WITH only, no comment, no forbidden word, with a row limit forced.
• Passwords and tokens are kept enciphered by Dolibarr and never shown again.

Safety and data

• The module reads: it never writes into Dolibarr's own tables. Its twelve tables are its own, and turning it off leaves everything in place.
• Every query filters on the entity: multi-company is handled from end to end, dashboards, widgets, connections and sendings included.
• The number of rows read, the time allowed to a query and the wait for an outside source are capped and adjustable.
• Custom queries and outside sources can be switched off globally in the settings, even for those who would be allowed them.
• Every write goes through Dolibarr's anti-replay token.
• A cache per widget, adjustable and clearable on demand, avoids redoing a heavy calculation every thirty seconds.
• The settings page checks the server and says what the module can lean on: charts, workbooks, database drivers, web services, scheduled jobs, e-mail.

Technical information

• Compatibility: Dolibarr 16 and above, tested on Dolibarr 23.0.4 — PHP 7.4 to 8.4 — MySQL/MariaDB.
• No module required: it reads what is on at your place and hides the rest.
• PHP extensions: JSON and mbstring. pdo_pgsql, pdo_mysql and curl only for outside sources.
• Nothing to download: charts, PDF and workbooks use what Dolibarr already ships.
• Five languages: French, English, Italian, German, Spanish — 825 labels per language.
