CapTODO turns Dolibarr projects and tasks into real TODO lists, on your computer, smartphone and tablet, so that nothing slips through the cracks between two calls.

Dolibarr handles full projects well, but jotting down "call this customer back on Thursday" or "chase the quote" takes far too many clicks. So tasks end up on sticky notes, in a notebook or in a separate app, away from the customers and projects they belong to. CapTODO fixes this without changing how you work: your tasks remain Dolibarr tasks, linked to your third parties, your projects and your calendar, but they are created in a few seconds and read at a glance.

Important: mobile app requirements

The module works fully inside Dolibarr with nothing else. The mobile app (PWA), however, only works when the conditions below are met. Check them before buying: a mobile app that cannot be reached because they are not met is not a defect of the module and does not give rise to a refund.

• A public web address over HTTPS for the app, either:
  • a virtual host, set up by you or your hosting provider, with a valid HTTPS certificate, pointing directly to the pwa folder of the module, the root of the app;
  • or a DoliProxy subscription, paid and separate from the purchase of the module, which provides the address, the certificate and the configuration: doliproxy.fr
• Any additional modules listed in the requirements of this sheet, installed and enabled

Setting up the virtual host, the domain name and the certificate is part of your hosting: it is not covered by the price of the module.

Write a task down before you forget it

Type "Chase the Dupont quote !high #sales": the task is created with its priority and its tag, without opening a single form. A due date, a third party or an assignee can be added afterwards when needed. Recurring tasks (the Monday meeting, the month-end closing) are created again on their own, every day, week, month or year, through Dolibarr scheduled jobs.

On your smartphone: your tasks wherever you go

The app installs from the browser, without going through an app store: "Add to Home screen" in Chrome on Android, "Add to Home Screen" in Safari on iPhone. It gets its own icon and opens like a native app. You sign in with your usual Dolibarr credentials.

• Your day on one screen: Today, Tomorrow and Week buttons, a mini calendar to jump to a given date, a filter per TODO list
• One-line entry: the "+" button opens the input, with tags (#) and priority (!) typed as you write, or dictated (voice input in French)
• Several tasks at once: a long press selects tasks, which you then complete, reopen or reprioritise together
• Time logged on the spot: when you reopen a task, enter the duration, a note and the progress (slider from 0 to 100%)
• The time log in your pocket: record your activities as you go, link an entry to a task with a swipe, select several to merge them
• Even without network: tasks you have viewed stay readable, and the time log fills up offline then synchronises on its own when the network comes back

On your tablet: the comfort of a desk

On a wider screen, the app changes its layout to make the most of the space.

• A collapsible sidebar gathers the TODO list selector, the filters and the calendar
• The task list is shown full size, with a quick-add field always visible
• A task card splits in two: its details on one side, editing or time entry on the other
• TODO lists themselves are edited from the app: title, dates, budget, status and tags
• With a keyboard, single-key shortcuts: n for a new task, t for today, w for the week, l for the time log

See at a glance what is urgent

The home page shows four counters (overdue, today, this week, done over the last 7 days), today's list sorted by priority and the deadlines of the next two weeks. The same priority icons everywhere make the urgent stand out. Synchronised tasks also appear in the Dolibarr calendar, with one colour per priority level.

Manage the team without one more meeting

A dedicated permission gives managers a team view: everyone's tasks, a filter per person, and the tasks nobody has taken yet. Other users only see their own tasks and those still to be assigned. Each task keeps the history of its changes: who changed what, when, and the time spent on it.

Act straight from the list

• Four configurable action buttons on every task: email the related third party, send an internal message, book an appointment in the calendar
• Internal messaging attached to tasks and lists, with reply threads
• A customer's tasks shown directly in a tab of its third-party card
• Subtasks, coloured tags and a multi-tag filter to keep big files in order

Know where your time goes

The time log records your activities throughout the day, typed or dictated (voice input in French). Then link the entries to tasks, merge them, and check your statistics per day and per week. Linked time feeds the time spent of the Dolibarr tasks.

Why not a separate task app?

• No double entry: a CapTODO task is a Dolibarr task, linked to the customer, the project and the calendar
• Your data stays with you, in your Dolibarr database, as standard projects and tasks even without the module
• Nothing new to administer: permissions, users and groups are those of Dolibarr
