Compare carriers and create shipping labels from Dolibarr

LemonBoxtal connects Dolibarr shipments, quotes and invoices to Boxtal. Prepare parcels, compare carrier offers, order shipping and retrieve PDF labels without entering customer details again in a separate tool.

One Boxtal account gives access to several carriers without signing a separate contract with each one. Boxtal charges shipping according to the offer selected; those costs are separate from the module price.

What LemonBoxtal does

• Comparable carrier offers. View prices before and after tax, delivery times, services and delivery modes from a shipment, quote or invoice.

• Parcel preparation. Use your own box catalogue, dimensions and weights; product weights help prefill each parcel.

• Organised offers. Browse home, pickup-point or business delivery and sort by price, time, carrier or service.

• Pickup points on a map. Choose an eligible collection point and, when needed, a drop-off point around a different city.

• Guided purchase. The form requests the fields required by the selected offer and shows a review step before buying.

• Labels in the right document. PDF labels are attached to the Documents tab of the related shipment, invoice or quote.

• Tracking retained. The number and link update the native shipment; for a direct quote or invoice they remain available in LemonBoxtal.

• Customer notification. Use Dolibarr’s email screen and the editable “Parcel shipped” template, with attachments and an activity log.

• Shipping cost on quotes. Add a shipping line to a quote or order from a Boxtal rate, with configurable margin and rounding.

• Multiple shipments. A quote or invoice can hold several shipments, each with more than one PDF label if required.

From quote to label, with clear controls

Work through three steps from a shipment, invoice or quote: parcels and addresses, transport choice, then review before ordering. Direct invoices work even when there is no Dolibarr order or shipment.

The module starts in the Boxtal sandbox. Switching to production is an explicit administrator action; each shipping purchase asks for confirmation. Purchase permission is separate from read permission and is off by default.

Easy to install

In Dolibarr, open Setup → Modules → Deploy an external module. Upload the ZIP, enable the Shipments module and LemonBoxtal, then enter your Boxtal API keys. A user guide is included.

Compatible with Dolibarr 18 to 24 and PHP 7.4 or newer. Production API purchases require a Boxtal account with deferred payment by direct debit and a signed SEPA mandate. Without it, quotes work but Boxtal rejects shipping orders.
