After a few years of use, the same record often ends up entered twice, with the same email written differently. This module finds them and lets you clean up safely.

What Dolibarr cannot do

Dolibarr only merges third parties. There is no native merge for contacts or members: this module adds it. Everything pointing at the deleted record is moved onto the one you keep: linked documents and elements, events, categories, notifications, subscriptions, partnerships and the linked user account.

Matching criteria

  • Same email - case and spaces ignored
  • Same name - accents, punctuation and legal form ignored
  • Same phone - format ignored
  • Same VAT or company registration number
  • For contacts and members: first and last name in any order

Exact match after normalisation: no fuzzy score, so no invented false positives.

Safety: read-only scan, mandatory preview, explicit confirmation, transactional merge. Multi-company aware, external users confined. Full merge history.

Compatible with Dolibarr V19 to V24.
