The problem it solves

Dolibarr's PDF models are edited in PHP: every logo, column or legal-text change ends up in a .php file you must edit, test and redeploy on each upgrade. And there is only one model per document type.

What you run into What it costs you
Changing an invoice layout means editing a PHP model. You depend on a developer for something as simple as moving the logo or adding a note, and the change can be lost on upgrade.
A single model per document type. You cannot keep a “corporate” invoice and a “simplified” one, nor a different design per customer, country or amount.
The PDF engine is fixed. If your CSS is not honoured, you have no alternative: you cannot switch to an engine that renders like a browser.

Design the PDF like a web page —header, body and footer in HTML and CSS— and let Dolibarr pick the right layout on its own. Without touching a line of PHP.

One place to design — and it proves it to you

There used to be two menu entries for the same thing, and it was possible to edit a template that never reached the PDF. Now design lives entirely under «PDF formats»: you pick the format and design it, with a «See how the PDF comes out» button that renders the real document from what you are editing, unsaved. The screen also tells you the name that format has on the document card. The PDF headings («Description», «Qty», «Total excl. tax») translate themselves into your customer's language. And the new image library lets you upload a logo once and reuse it in any format.

Four engines: mPDF (bundled, no binary), Chrome headless, wkhtmltopdf and Gotenberg. If the configured one fails, it continues on mPDF.

VeriFactu QR, Factur-X, PKCS#7 signature, VAT breakdown, equivalence surcharge and withholding, watermark and password.

Getting started

Install the module from the ZIP (Home → Setup → Modules → Deploy external module). mPDF is bundled: no shell needed.

Pick the document type and start from the default template, which reproduces the native model.

Drag blocks, tune with {variables} and [if:conditions], and save as many formats as you like.

Set the default (or define rules by country, language or amount) and generate: the PDF comes out with your design.

Before you buy

Can I adapt it to my case?
Yes. It ships under GNU GPL v3: you get the full source code and can read, modify and adapt it without asking.
How do I test it without risking my data?
Install it on a test Dolibarr or a secondary entity. The editor preview generates the PDF without writing anything to disk or touching your documents.
What if something doesn't fit my install?
Write to info@easysoft.es before buying and we'll look at it with you. We'd rather tell you it doesn't fit than sell you something that won't help.
What happens when the 365 days expire?
The module keeps working with no limit: the licence is perpetual. The 365 days are access to updates and support; once they lapse, what you installed stays operational and simply stops receiving new versions.

A module with 181 automated tests and a static quality gate run on every release across PHP 7.4 to 8.4. Compatibility verified against Dolibarr 18 to 24. Each release ships with its ready-to-deploy ZIP and its changelog.
