UltimatePDF Light: essential PDF customization for your quotes, orders and invoices

UltimatePDF Light is the lightweight edition of the UltimatePDF module. It lets you customize the PDF templates generated by Dolibarr for your customer proposals, customer orders and customer invoices, so they match your company's visual identity and business needs.

Create your own templates without having to edit Dolibarr's standard files directly: colors, logos, borders, columns, images, address blocks, signatures, footers, barcodes, QR codes and attached documents can all be configured from the module's interface.

Each template can be saved with its own settings, letting you create several layouts adapted to your different activities, brands, establishments or issuing companies.

Installation

Installing from the Dolibarr interface

1. Go to Home > Setup > Modules/Applications.
2. Open the Deploy/Install external module tab.
3. Select the module's ZIP archive.
4. Click Send file.
5. Then enable the UltimatePDF Light module.

Manual installation

• Download the module's ZIP archive from DoliStore.com .
• Place the file in Dolibarr's root directory.
• Unzip the archive with the following command:

unzip module_ultimatepdflight-24.0.x.zip

• Read the INSTALL file included with the module.
• Check that the resulting folder structure is correct: htdocs/custom/ultimatepdflight.
• Then go to Home > Setup > Modules/Applications and enable UltimatePDF Light.
• Click the module's setup icon to create your first template.

Manage your templates in just a few clicks

Create document templates matching your company's brand guidelines. Each template can have its own name, description and settings.

You can customize, among other things:

• the font used;
• the text color;
• the border color;
• the background color of frames and column headers;

Usage

Once the module is enabled, create a template from the UltimatePDF Light setup page, then select it as the active template in the setup of the relevant document type (proposal, order or invoice).

Settings are saved independently for each template and for each document category. This lets you use a different layout for your proposals, orders and invoices.
