Description

Dictate the customer name, the service, and the price in French, and your quote or invoice is created in a few seconds in Dolibarr.

Dolibarr Voice Assistant is an external module that leverages OpenAI's artificial intelligence (Whisper for voice transcription, GPT-4o for structured data extraction) to automatically generate commercial proposals or invoices directly in your ERP, without any manual entry.

The module integrates a modern web interface installable as a mobile application (PWA), accessible outside the standard Dolibarr interface, ideal for field use or sales representatives on the go.

Customer invoices
These modules are part of the Dolibarr core and are enabled in most installations.
 
External prerequisite - OpenAI API Key This module requires an OpenAI account with an active API key (pay-as-you-go). Voice transcription (Whisper) and data extraction (GPT-4o) are billed by OpenAI per use. Normal usage (10–50 quotes/day) represents an estimated cost of 5 Cts to 25 Cts per day. Get your key at platform.openai.com/api-keys.
 Installation
1- Download and deploy the module In Dolibarr: Setup → Modules/Applications → Deploy an external module. Upload the file module_voiceassistant-1.0.0.zip.
2- Enable the module In the modules list, search for "VoiceAssistant" (family: Interface) and enable it.
3 - Configure the OpenAI API key Click on Setup (⚙️ icon) and enter your OpenAI API key in the designated field. The key is stored encrypted in the database.
4- Access the assistant From the menu Tools → Voice Assistant, or via the direct URL displayed on the configuration page. On mobile, install it as a PWA.
5- Grant user permissions In Setup → Users → [user] → Permissions, enable the permission VoiceAssistant → Use the voice assistant.
