DocFinder

Why this module:
In Dolibarr, if you're looking for "the invoice with the lift pump" or "that €2,400 quote for Martin & Co", you're in for a while: open the invoice list, stack up filters, open documents one by one to check. The native search doesn't look inside line items or notes, so if your keyword isn't in the document number or the customer name, you won't find anything.
DocFinder fixes this with a single search page. Type a keyword or an amount range and you instantly get the matching quotes and invoices, with the customer, date, amounts and the real status (the module detects partially paid invoices and shows them as such). Under each result you see the lines containing your keyword, highlighted. One click takes you to the document.

What the module does:

• Search across multiple fields: document number, customer name, line descriptions, product reference and label, public and private notes. Each field can be enabled or disabled in the settings.
•  Amount filter: min/max, on the total excl. or incl. tax, your choice. Works on its own or combined with a keyword.
• Matching lines shown: under each document, with the keyword highlighted, the quantity and the net total. You see why a result comes up, not just that it does.
• Native Dolibarr statuses, including detection of invoices with payment in progress.
• Clickable examples: when the search is empty, the module suggests real examples taken from your recent data, one click runs the search.
• Keyboard shortcut: the / key jumps to the search bar from anywhere on the page.
• Access management right in the settings: a "User access" card to grant or revoke the permission, without opening each user card.
• Configurable accent color (8 presets or a free picker) if you want to match your branding.
• Dolibarr permissions respected: each user only sees the documents they're allowed to read. Multicompany is supported.

Technical side:
The module is 100% local: no external dependency, no network calls. SQL queries are escaped, permissions are checked server-side, and the CSS is isolated so it won't touch your theme. The interface is fully usable with the keyboard, with screen-reader labels and WCAG AA compliant contrasts.
DocFinder adds itself to the Dolibarr top menu with its own icon, like a native module.

Settings:
A card-based settings page, about 2 minutes to go through: scope (quotes, invoices or both), searched fields, amount filter and tax base, matching-lines display, maximum number of results, per-user access, module color with live preview.

Installation:

1. Setup → Modules/Applications → "Deploy/Install external app/module", then upload the zip. 2. Enable DocFinder. The configuration table, the permission and the menu are created automatically. 3. The DocFinder entry appears in the top menu, ready to use.
