Dark Mode Theme

An elegant dark theme for your Dolibarr — free, for the whole team or just a few users.

Dolibarr ships with several light themes natively (eldy, md...) but no real polished dark mode. Many users who spend their days inside the ERP — accountants, sales reps, admin — prefer a dark background for visual comfort, especially late in the day or in a dimly-lit office.

darkmode is a fork derived from the official eldy theme, redesigned in a dark palette, with particular care given to the readability of tables, forms, lists, customer cards, invoices, and all the typical Dolibarr screens.

Installation

1. Download the darkmode.zip archive.
2. Unzip it: you get a darkmode/ folder.
3. Drop this folder into dolibarr/htdocs/theme/ (next to the existing themes eldy/, md/, etc.).

No installation via the Dolibarr module manager — it's a theme, it just drops into the theme/ folder as-is.

Activation (per user)

Once the theme is copied on the server, every user activates it on their own account:

1. Home → Users & Groups → List of users
2. Open the user
3. User Interface tab
4. Skin (theme) field → pick darkmode
5. Save

The theme applies immediately. Other users keep whatever theme they chose.
