  <h2><strong>Detailed Description</strong></h2>

  <p>This module lets you capture incoming electronic invoices (e-invoices) automatically as Dolibarr supplier invoices &mdash; without having to type invoice files by hand or hand
  them to external services for processing:<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Comprehensive format support:</strong> EInvoice Import handles all common e-invoice formats your suppliers use &mdash; <strong>XRechnung (UBL XML), ZUGFeRD/Factur-X (CII XML
   or hybrid PDF)</strong>. Format detection, PDF extraction and CII-to-UBL conversion happen automatically. Duplicate detection via SHA-256 hash prevents double-import of the same
  invoice. <strong>Standard invoices</strong> (380), <strong>advance-payment / partial invoices</strong> (326/875/876) and <strong>credit notes / corrected invoices</strong> (381/384)
   are recognised correctly and mapped to the matching Dolibarr invoice type.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>Input-VAT certainty through automatic validation:</strong> Input-VAT deduction under &sect; 15 of the German VAT Act (UStG) requires a formally correct invoice on file
  &mdash; a malformed e-invoice can cost you the deduction at the next tax audit. The module integrates the <strong>official KoSIT validator</strong>, which checks every incoming
  invoice against the German XRechnung standard and EN 16931. Formally incorrect invoices can be marked as invalid before posting, or blocked entirely via configuration. The full
  validation report is archived together with the supplier invoice &mdash; evidence material for the tax audit.<br />
  <br />
  <strong>GDPR-compliant:</strong> All processing steps happen locally on the Dolibarr server. Neither the XML validation via the KoSIT validator nor the PDF/CII processing via
  Mustang CLI transfers data to external services. A data processing agreement (DPA) under GDPR is therefore not required &mdash; as would be the case with external cloud
  services.</p>

  <h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2>

  <p>Please note: due to their size, the two third-party components are not bundled with the module itself (around 130&nbsp;MB together; an upload of the module to Dolibarr would fail
   on the size limit):</p>

  <ul>
      <li><strong>KoSIT validator</strong> &mdash; the official validator of the German Coordination Office for IT Standards (KoSIT) for XRechnung / EN 16931, Apache License 2.0</li>
      <li><strong>Mustang CLI</strong> (Mustangproject) &mdash; XML extraction from hybrid PDFs and CII-to-UBL conversion, Apache License 2.0</li>
  </ul>

  <p>After installing our module, both components can be downloaded and installed directly from the module's setup page with one click &mdash; downloads come straight from the
  official GitHub repositories.</p>

  <p><strong>Using these two tools requires Java on the Dolibarr server</strong>, for example OpenJDK 11+ or 17 LTS. Note: in our <a href="https://www.dolicenter.com/">DoliCenter
  hosting service</a>, Java is available by default for all installations we host.</p>

  <p>The module also works without Java in a reduced mode &mdash; pure UBL XRechnung files are processed by the built-in PHP parser. For hybrid PDF inputs (ZUGFeRD/Factur-X), Mustang
  CLI is mandatory; for incoming-invoice validation against input-VAT requirements, the KoSIT validator is mandatory.</p>

  <p>A one-off internet connection is required for the initial download of the external tools. All ongoing invoice processing then happens locally on the Dolibarr server, without any
  data being transferred to external services.</p>

  <p><strong>Shared tools path with the XRechnung Export module:</strong> if you also use our <em>XRechnung Export</em> module, both modules share the same KoSIT and Mustang
  installation &mdash; no duplication, no two separate downloads.</p>
