The Return Manager module extends Dolibarr's stock and logistics management by adding a complete return flow for both supplier receptions and customer shipments. Whether you need to send goods back to a supplier or accept a return from a customer, this module gives you a dedicated, traceable, and integrated process — without any workarounds.

• Return on Reception (Supplier Returns) Process return lines directly from an existing supplier reception. Each return automatically decrements stock from the selected warehouse and updates the corresponding reception line quantity.

• Return on Shipment (Customer Returns) Manage returns linked to customer shipments. Returned quantities are re-integrated into stock with full movement traceability.

• Automatic Stock Movement Every return operation triggers an accurate stock movement (via Dolibarr's native MouvementStock), ensuring your inventory stays perfectly up to date.

• Credit Invoice Generation Select one or more validated returns and generate a supplier credit note (avoir) in a single click. The module automatically links the credit note to the original invoice and to each return record.

• Automatic Invoice Validation & Credit Conversion Through the module's settings, you can configure it to automatically validate the generated invoice and/or immediately convert it to a credit note (reduction amount) — eliminating extra manual steps.

• Status Tracking Each return record goes through a clear lifecycle: Draft → Validated → Linked to Invoice → Credit Invoice Generated → Finished

• Multi-currency Support Full support for Dolibarr's multicurrency system — amounts and exchange rates are carried over to credit invoices automatically.

• PDF Document Generation Generate printable return slips (Reception Return slip / Shipment Return slip) using Dolibarr's standard PDF engine.

• Linked Documents & Notes Attach documents and notes directly to return records, as with any native Dolibarr object.

• Granular Permissions Separate read / write / delete permissions for Reception Returns and Shipment Returns, allowing fine-grained access control per user group.

• Configurable via Admin Panel Enable or disable Reception Return and Shipment Return independently. Configure automation options from the module's dedicated setup page.

Required Dolibarr modules: Stocks, Receptions (for Reception Returns) / Shipments/Expeditions (for Shipment Returns)

📦 Installation

1. Download the module archive.
2. Extract and copy the returnmanager folder into your Dolibarr htdocs/custom/ directory.
3. Log in as administrator, go to Home → Modules/Applications, and enable Return Manager.
4. Go to the module's Setup page to activate Reception Return and/or Shipment Return and configure automation options.
