DoligenWeb turns Dolibarr into a complete genealogy management tool designed to centralize, organize, and easily explore your family history.

The module allows you to manage individuals, families, and places through a clear and structured interface. Each individual record brings together all essential information, including identity, gender, occupation, family relationships, spouse, parents, children, notes, attached files, and related historical events.

Thanks to GEDCOM import and export, DoligenWeb makes it easy to retrieve data from existing genealogy software. It also allows you to export information for sharing or reuse in other compatible applications, making it an open, practical, and interoperable solution.

The module also includes full Sosa numbering management, ideal for tracking an ancestral line in a structured way. Sosa numbers are displayed directly on individual records and in family tree views, making it easy to identify a person’s position within the genealogy being studied.

For visual exploration, DoligenWeb provides several display modes:

• an ancestor and descendant view;
• a boxed family tree view for easy reading across generations;
• an ancestor fan chart for viewing the distribution of ancestors at a glance;
• filtering by number of generations;
• highlighting of places using color coding, making it easy to identify the family’s main geographical areas.

The module also brings historical context to life through a dedicated historical events section. Based on an individual’s lifetime and the selected country, it can display relevant historical events and the corresponding heads of state, helping place each person within their historical period.

DoligenWeb also includes practical features for enriching your genealogy data on a daily basis:
