Boost efficiency and eliminate manual entry errors with the Supplier Order Input module.
Designed to simplify daily purchasing workflows, this module allows you to generate supplier orders directly from your validated customer orders. No more manual re-entry of product lines: the module handles everything in just a few clicks.
Key Features:
One-Click Generation: A dedicated "Place Supplier Orders" button appears directly on your validated customer order files.
Automatic Dispatching: The module identifies the supplier linked to each product and creates as many separate supplier orders as there are suppliers involved.
Flexible Line Selection: You stay in control! Specifically select the products you want to order and adjust quantities before generation.
Smart Stock Management: Choose whether to take your current stock into account to order only what is strictly necessary, or order all customer lines.
Merge with Existing Orders: If a supplier order is already in progress (draft status) for a specific supplier, the module can integrate the new lines into it instead of creating a new one.
Full Traceability: Generated documents are linked, allowing you to easily navigate from the customer order to the corresponding supplier order.
Thersane Ecosystem (Strong Synergies)
More Lines Infos: Adds crucial visibility to the processing of each line. You can track directly from the customer document which lines have already been included in a supplier order.
Supplier Quote Input: The ideal companion for the negotiation phase. Allows you to create supplier quotes from your customer quotes/orders before moving to a firm purchase.
Why Choose This Module?
Massive Time Savings: Ideal for companies practicing drop-shipping or managing a high volume of orders.
Error Reduction: By automating data transfer (references, quantities, prices), you eliminate the risk of oversight or typos.
Increased Responsiveness: Process your restocking instantly as soon as your customer validates their purchase for just-in-time products.
It all started at THERSANE. We faced a daily challenge: a customer order arrives, containing various products—some in stock, others technical, custom-made, or just-in-time.
The risk? Forgetting to order a specific part, letting a customer order sit because supplier replenishment wasn’t triggered in time, or placing three separate orders with the same supplier in a single day due to lack of a global overview.
We were enduring the flow instead of managing it.
We then designed Supplier Order Input. The goal was not just to create a simple input tool, but a true control tower.
As soon as a customer order is validated, the module analyzes your needs and provides a strategic view. It doesn’t just list products; it allows you to transfer customer requirements to the relevant suppliers in just a few clicks.
Even better, it lets you consolidate your requests: if multiple customer orders require products from the same supplier, you centralize everything. You save on shipping costs, gain negotiation leverage, and simplify administrative clarity.
What initially was just a replenishment page for our internal needs became the core of our logistics. We decided to turn it into a standalone module to address three major challenges we share with you:
Respond Instantly: Order technical or custom-made products the moment the customer confirms, so no time is wasted.
Manage Virtual Stock: At a glance, you can distinguish between actual stock and available stock, taking into account other ongoing customer orders. You are no longer surprised by shortages because another order has already “drained” the stock in the meantime.
Anticipate Instead of Suffering: You order products just-in-time before they even run out, because you have a full view of your entire order book.
Supplier Order Input was born from the field, for the field. It’s the tool that transforms reactive stock management into an optimized purchasing strategy.
Installation and Configuration:
Compatible with recent versions of Dolibarr.

THERSANE is neither an IT service company nor a specialized module publisher. We are primarily a wholesaler specializing in the sale of industrial plumbing equipment.
Although our core business is wholesale trading, we use Dolibarr daily to manage our operations. We particularly appreciate its open-source nature and the richness of its community.
Faced with increasingly demanding business challenges, our internal IT team has developed tailor-made solutions to meet our needs for optimization and efficiency. These tools help us improve our performance and successfully tackle our business challenges.
Sharing these modules on Dolistore aligns with our commitment to supporting the Dolibarr association. It is also a way to make available tools we have created that might be useful to other businesses facing similar challenges.
At THERSANE, we believe in the power of collaboration and shared innovation. This vision drives our contribution to the Dolibarr ecosystem.
No support for usage or installation is included. To benefit from these services, we recommend using your preferred Dolibarr provider.
The latest versions of our modules are available on Dolistore, and access is free for one year from the purchase date.
If it is a free module: No corrective maintenance is available. However, you can report issues on our contact page, and our support team will review them and decide at their discretion whether they can be addressed.
