Managing a large product catalog in Dolibarr can be time-consuming when references or labels need to be updated one by one. MassEditRef solves this by giving you a dedicated page to view, search, filter, and edit all your product references, labels, and supplier references in a single, efficient table — no more opening individual product cards.

Two dedicated editing tabs

The module is organized into two independent tabs, each focused on a specific task:

• Ref. / Product Label — Edit product references and labels side by side. The current values are pre-filled in the input fields, so you only change what needs updating. Both fields can be modified simultaneously in a single save operation.
• Supplier Ref. — Edit supplier references across all your supplier price lines. Filter by supplier to focus on one vendor at a time. A single product can appear on multiple lines if it is linked to several suppliers, each editable independently.

Smart editing experience

The interface is designed to minimize errors and maximize speed:

• Modified fields are automatically highlighted in yellow, giving you an instant visual overview of pending changes
• Rows are automatically checked as soon as a field is edited — no need to manually tick each line
• The status bar at the bottom shows the count of selected rows and pending modifications at all times, so you always know exactly what will be saved

Powerful search and filters

Find the products you need quickly with the built-in search and filter bar:

• Full-text search across references, labels, and supplier names
• Category filter on the products tab
• Supplier filter on the supplier references tab (up to 200 active suppliers)
• Configurable rows per page: 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, or 1000 — memorized per session
• Full pagination with first / previous / page numbers / next / last controls

Safe and reliable saves

When you click SAVE, only checked rows are processed. On the product tab, reference uniqueness is enforced — if a new reference already exists on another product, that line is skipped and a clear error message is displayed, while the rest of the valid changes are rolled back to preserve data integrity. On the supplier tab, there are no uniqueness constraints, so bulk updates go through cleanly.

Result messages clearly indicate how many records were updated, and any conflict or missing-selection scenario is reported with an explicit warning.

Installation

1. Go to Home → Configuration → Modules → Deploy an external module and upload the ZIP file
2. Once deployed, find MassEditRef in the module list and click Enable
3. The menu entry Edit ref./label in bulk will appear under Products in the left navigation bar

Requires Dolibarr v16 or higher. No database migration needed — the module works entirely on existing Dolibarr tables.
