Overview

ScanPdf transforms your PDF documents into Dolibarr entries in just a few clicks. Import your supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, bank statements, and payslips directly from your browser or mobile device.

Intelligent Data Extraction

The module analyzes your digital PDFs and automatically extracts key information: invoice number, dates, amounts excluding/including/VAT, and supplier references. The sender is identified by keyword recognition (VAT number, SIRET number, company name): from the second import of the same supplier, the system begins to pre-fill what it recognizes. Normally, after the 5th import of a document of the same type (invoice, payslip, bank statement, etc.), the system should achieve between 80 and 90% automatic detection.

Extracting lines

ScanPdf is not limited to header fields. Thanks to With its visual extractor, you can directly select the area containing the table of lines on the PDF, place the column separators, and the module extracts each line with its description, product reference, quantity, unit price, VAT rate, and amount. The lines are editable before validation, and Dolibarr products are automatically associated by reference. Works equally well for invoices, orders, and delivery notes. Bank Statements Import your PDF bank statements directly into the OpenDSI Bank Tracking module (a POWENS subscription is not required). Define the table area and columns only once: the configuration is saved for each bank. Transactions are extracted with date, description, debit and credit, and can be edited in an interactive table with real-time balance control. Payslips Extract data from your payslips (employee ID, period, net, gross) and automatically create payslips in Dolibarr. The employee is identified by their employee ID. The PDF can be filed in the corresponding user folder. Attachment to any Dolibarr object For your various administrative documents, attach any PDF to a third party, a project, a contract, an intervention, a ticket, or any other Dolibarr object. The file is indexed in the native document management system.

Progressive Learning

The module learns from your corrections. With each import, it memorizes the extraction rules and refines its recognition. After several successful imports without corrections, it switches to semi-automatic and then automatic mode, progressively reducing manual intervention.

Advanced PWA Interface

The PWA interface is provided by the SmartMaker project. The two-pane view displays the PDF on the left and the form on the right.
