A complete and up-to-date customer record is the foundation of an effective business relationship — but filling it in manually takes valuable time. ClientPlus queries official business registries to retrieve reliable legal data (company number, registered address, SIC code, VAT number), then can optionally complement with AI for information registries do not provide (phone, email, website). Official Registry Search (primary feature)

• Companies House (UK) — queries the official UK company register. Free API key required (register at developer.company-information.service.gov.uk).
• INSEE Sirene (France) — French government open data, free, no API key required.
• KBO/BCE (Belgium) — Belgian government open data, free, no API key required.
• Search by company number or name + city for precise identification.
• Retrieved data: company name, registered address, postal code, city, company number, SIC/NAF code, VAT number.
• Link to the official registry (Companies House, Annuaire des Entreprises, KBO) for verification.

AI Search (optional bonus)

• Smart web research through Tavily and/or SerpAPI.
• Multi-provider AI analysis (OpenAI, Mistral, Claude, Gemini, Grok).
• Complements registry data with phone, email, website, notes.
• Free tiers available: Tavily offers 1,000 requests/month free; SerpAPI offers 100 searches/month free, no credit card required.

Common to both modes

• Structured update proposals with source indicator (Registry / AI) per field.
• Built-in validity checks for email, URL, phone, VAT, company numbers, and more.

How It Works

1. Launch enrichment from the third-party card.
2. ClientPlus automatically detects the country and queries the appropriate registry (Companies House, INSEE, or KBO/BCE).
3. If AI is enabled, a complementary web search finds phone, email, and website.
4. If multiple companies match, you select the right one from a clear visual list.
5. Review suggested fields and apply approved changes in one click.

Simplified Record Creation

To create a third party, prospect, customer, or supplier record, you only need to enter the name and city. ClientPlus queries the relevant business registry to automatically fill in company number, registered address, VAT number, and more.

Companies House (UK): a free API key is required — register at developer.company-information.service.gov.uk.
INSEE (France) and KBO/BCE (Belgium): no API key required.

Registry Search (primary feature)

• Companies House (UK): uses the official Companies House API. A free API key is required (registration at developer.company-information.service.gov.uk). Only the third party's name or company number is sent to this service.
• INSEE (France): uses the French government open API. No API key required, free public data. Only the third party's name or SIREN/SIRET is sent.
• KBO/BCE (Belgium): uses the Belgian government open API. No API key required. Only the third party's name or enterprise number is sent.
• No internal Dolibarr data is transmitted to any of these services.

AI Search (optional bonus)

• If you enable AI, the third party's name and city are sent to the configured search engines (Tavily and/or SerpAPI).
• Search results are forwarded to the selected AI provider (OpenAI, Mistral, Claude, Gemini, or Grok) for analysis.
• AI mode requires at least one search API key and one AI analysis API key. API costs depend on your provider and usage volume.

In all cases

• No internal Dolibarr data (invoices, contacts, notes, etc.) is transmitted to these services.
• You remain in full control of every change: nothing is applied without your explicit approval.
• You are responsible for compliance with your organisation's data policies (GDPR, etc.).
