Your supplier invoices in Dolibarr without typing a single line
Upload the PDF or photograph the receipt with your phone. EasyOcr reads the supplier, tax ID, line items, taxes and totals, and leaves the supplier invoice created in Dolibarr with its document attached.

The problem it solves
Entering purchase invoices by hand is not just slow: it is where the errors creep in that surface later, at closing. And not every OCR will do, because a misread amount is worse than no amount at all.
| What you run into |
What it costs you |
| Typing the supplier, line items, VAT and totals of every invoice you receive |
Ten to fifteen minutes per document, and a tax ID or an amount mistyped that nobody notices until the quarterly close |
| An OCR that rounds the unit price to two decimals |
1,500 × 3.43 = 5,145.00 when the invoice says 5,150.50: lines that do not match their own total, and a discrepancy you have to hunt down by hand |
| The same PDF processed twice, by two people or on two different days |
Duplicate invoices in the ERP, repeated payments, and AI credits spent on a document you already had |
This is not an OCR that hands you back some text to copy. It is a module that leaves the invoice created in Dolibarr — with its supplier, its line items, its taxes and the PDF attached.
NEW IN 2.7.0
Line items that add up to the cent
AI services return unit prices rounded to two decimals, and that rounding gets multiplied by the quantity. EasyOcr reconciles every line against its printed net amount and recovers the real price: where 3.43 arrives it restores 3.4337, and where 0.35 arrives it restores 0.347.
It also recognises the line discount even when the document prints it in euros instead of as a percentage, or when it does not print it at all and it can only be inferred from the amount. And if the lines do not add up to the document totals, it warns you before creating anything instead of leaving you with an invoice that does not balance.
How it looks inside Dolibarr
The module fits in like any other: its own menu, its own permissions and its own settings page.
Home panel: counters for what has been processed and a shortcut to every function in the module.
Extraction screen: the PDF on the left; on the right, AI extraction, remaining quota, the eight labels for marking zones by hand, and per-supplier templates.
Two modes, and the first one is free
The module ships with the full Classic mode, which works without any external service and without sending your documents anywhere. AI mode adds automatic reading and relies on the easyocr.es service, with a free plan of 10 pages a month to try it out.

What you get
Upload the batch and come back later
Up to 200 PDFs in one shot. The batch runs on its own and, if you enable it, creates the invoices and marks them paid in the bank account you choose. History with the detail of every document.
Amounts you can trust
Three- and four-decimal prices restored from the net amount, discounts recognised as a percentage or in euros, and an on-screen warning if the lines do not add up to the document totals.
Expenses straight from the employee's phone
Installable app: the employee photographs the receipt and it is filed as an expense report, a purchase invoice or a miscellaneous payment, whichever you configure. The photo travels attached and can be linked to a project.
You never pay twice for the same PDF
Every document is identified by its fingerprint before any credits are spent. If you already processed it, the module tells you and shows you the invoice it produced. It never discards it silently: you decide.
Your own items, recognised
The reference printed by the supplier is looked up first in that supplier's prices and then in your catalogue, so the line ends up linked to your product. And if you would rather pick it yourself, your choice wins.
Ready for multi-company
Templates, invoices and document fingerprints stay isolated per entity, including invoices arriving through the webhook. Interface in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan and Galician.
What it is used for
- Companies with many recurring suppliers: one template per supplier and month-end done in minutes.
- Retail and distribution: dozens of distributor invoices processed in a single batch.
- Logistics and transport: delivery notes, purchase invoices and shipping costs.
- Firms and consultancies: invoices from subcontractors and freelancers.
- Teams out on the road: per diems, fuel and tolls photographed on the spot.
Getting started
1
Unzip the module into your Dolibarr custom folder and enable it from the admin panel.
2
Classic mode is ready to use: import a PDF, mark the zones and save the supplier's template.
3
For AI mode, sign up at easyocr.es, copy your key and paste it into the module settings. You start with 10 pages a month, no card required.
4
Decide whether invoices are created as drafts or validated, and whether the batch should mark them paid. All from the settings.

Before you download it
Do I have to pay anything to use it?
The module is free, and the full Classic mode is included: viewer, per-supplier templates, local extraction and invoice creation. Only automatic AI reading uses an external service, and it starts with 10 pages a month at no cost and no card.
Can I adapt it to my case?
Yes. It is distributed under GNU GPL v3: you get the full source code and you can read it, modify it and adapt it without asking anyone.
How do I try it without risking my data?
Honestly: creating an invoice creates real data in your Dolibarr. That is why there is a setting to keep everything the module generates as a draft: you review it, and if you are not convinced, you delete it. For the first run, that is the safe way.
Do my invoices leave my server?
In Classic mode they do not: the PDF is read in the browser and goes nowhere. In AI mode the document is sent to the service to be read, processed in the European Union over TLS, and not kept afterwards. The module includes a telemetry and data protection tab where all of this is spelled out.
What if something does not fit my installation?
Write to
info@easysoft.es and we will look at it with you. We would rather tell you it does not fit than have you lose an afternoon.
Actively maintained
Version 2.7.0 is the ninth released in 2026 and ships with 325 automated checks that run on every change: from the arithmetic of each line item to creating a real invoice in a test database and reading a PDF end to end. Every version carries its own changelog inside the module, stating what changed and why.
