🚀 How to Use?

First Use

1. Install the module from the Dolibarr module manager
2. Activate DoliDimmer in Home → Setup → Modules
3. Configure options in Tools → DoliDimmer → Setup:
   • Enable module globally
   • Set default values (brightness, contrast, opacity)
   • Enable/disable keyboard shortcuts
4. A purple button appears in the bottom right of each page!

Adjust Settings

1. Click the DoliDimmer button (moon/sun icon in bottom right)
2. The control panel opens with 3 sliders
3. Adjust brightness: Move slider or use Ctrl + ↑/↓
4. Adjust contrast: Move slider or use Ctrl + Shift + ↑/↓
5. Adjust opacity: Move slider to add a soft filter
6. Your settings are automatically saved!

Keyboard Shortcuts

Reset Settings

Double-click the DoliDimmer button to instantly return to default values (100% brightness, 100% contrast, 0% opacity).

💡 Use Cases

Night Mode (evening work)

• Brightness: 60-70%
• Contrast: 80-90%
• Opacity: 20-30%
• Result: Soft interface, less aggressive for the eyes

Day Mode (bright office)

• Brightness: 110-130%
• Contrast: 120-140%
• Opacity: 0%
• Result: Bright interface, readable even in full sunlight

Reduce Eye Fatigue

• Brightness: 80-90%
• Contrast: 90-100%

❓ FAQ

Are settings kept after logout?
Yes! Your preferences are saved in the database and restored at each login.

Can I have different settings on multiple computers?
No, settings are linked to your user account and automatically sync across all your devices.

Does DoliDimmer slow down Dolibarr?
Absolutely not! The module uses only native CSS filters from the browser, ultra-performant.

Can I disable keyboard shortcuts?
Yes, in the configuration page (Tools → DoliDimmer → Setup), uncheck "Enable keyboard shortcuts".

Can the DoliDimmer button be hidden?
Yes, simply close the panel by clicking the button. To disable it completely, disable the module.

Does DoliDimmer work with all Dolibarr themes?
Yes! DoliDimmer applies universal filters that work with any theme.

Can minimum and maximum values be modified?
Currently, limits are set at 50-150% for brightness/contrast and 0-100% for opacity. These limits ensure comfortable use and prevent extreme settings that would make the interface unusable.

• Enable module: ON/OFF for all users
• Default brightness: Initial value (50-150%, default 100%)
• Default contrast: Initial value (50-150%, default 100%)
