Calculate the theoretical composable stock of product kits based on the real physical stock of their subproducts. Get a detailed breakdown per warehouse.
|
|
When a product is composed of other products, check the theoretical stock that can be composed/assembled/built using the real physical stock of the kit’s subproducts. Also possible to see the detail per warehouse.
If a product (e.g., Product A) is a kit composed of subproducts (e.g., X, Y, Z), the module automatically calculates how many kits can be assembled based on the available stock of each subproduct across warehouses.
Suppose Product A is a kit composed of :
| Subproduct | Required quantity |
|---|---|
| Product X | 1 |
| Product Y | 2 |
| Product Z | 4 |
This module will automatically calculate the how many products A can be composed depending on the real physical stock of products X, Y and Z.
| Subproduct | Real physical stock | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Product X | 10 | 10 / 1 = 10 |
| Product Y | 20 | 20 / 2 = 10 |
| Product Z | 16 | 16 / 4 = 4 |
Result: in this example only 4 products A can be composed as product Z is the limiting factor.
