More info...

capcompta is built for accountants. It shows that an interface as expert as the one of dedicated accounting firm software can live natively in Dolibarr: everything on the keyboard, dense grids, no page reload, and the Dolibarr accounting engine intact, with its tables and its permissions. The native pages work like forms: type, submit, wait for the reload, find your place again. capcompta changes only the way you work.

It is a prototype in the sense that it is built with the people who use it: it already covers the complete accounting cycle, from binding to closing, and your feedback as an accountant shapes the next versions.

Try it on a Dolibarr installed in less than 20 seconds, with a demonstration bookkeeping already filled in: dolitry.fr/capcompta

Bind a whole page without leaving the keyboard

  • Every sales, purchase or expense report line comes with the account proposed by the Dolibarr engine
  • Enter accepts the proposal and moves down one line; typing an account number replaces it
  • Keyboard multi-selection, and one account assigned to the whole batch in a single action
  • The chosen account is remembered on the product or the third party, in the field the engine reads
  • An account missing from the chart is created from its number, without leaving the grid

The complete accounting cycle

  • Dashboard of the lines to bind and the documents to transfer, journal by journal
  • Preview of each journal before the transfer: sales, purchases, bank, expense reports
  • General ledger with running balance and amount filters, general and subsidiary trial balance
  • Full, partial and automatic lettering in a panel next to the ledger
  • Miscellaneous entries typed in a grid, counterpart proposed, balance checked
  • Bank reconciliation against the statement, reconciled balance always on screen
  • Income statement and balance sheet by main headings

Working with the accountant

  • FEC export, with an optional archive of supporting documents named after their entry number
  • Reconciliation of the FEC sent back by the firm: added, changed or removed lines, and the added movements written with one key
  • Year-end closing: prior checks, result entry and opening entries
  • Takeover of an existing file through an opening trial balance pasted from a spreadsheet

Safeguards Dolibarr does not always provide

  • A validated or exported entry can be neither changed nor deleted
  • An entry dated in a closed fiscal year is refused
  • Every read and every write is bounded to the current entity
  • Two people working at the same time never write the same piece twice
  • No permission of its own: capcompta opens to nobody what the native accounting module would refuse

Requirements

  • Dolibarr 18, PHP 7.4 or higher
  • Double entry accounting module enabled: capcompta is an interface to it, not a replacement
  • SmartAuth module enabled, for the authentication of the interface
  • A workstation with a keyboard and a wide screen: capcompta is not designed for phones

capcompta produces neither tax return forms nor intermediate management balances, and does not replace the accountant: it prepares a clean FEC and reads back the one returned to you. Documentation: doc.cap-rel.fr/capcompta

Support

Support goes through our support form, not through the comments on this sheet.

Support is not free. You want competent people on the other side: it is fair that they are paid for that time. The price shown covers the module and its updates. It covers neither installing nor configuring your Dolibarr, nor training your teams, nor specific developments, nor investigating an environment we do not host.

A reproducible bug in the module is fixed at no charge, as part of the updates above.

Before buying

  • Check the Dolibarr and PHP versions stated at the top of this sheet: beyond them, the module is not tested
  • Modules are deployed from Home > Setup > Modules > Deploy an external module, which requires an active custom directory on your installation
  • When a module relies on an online service, the subscription to that service is separate from buying the module, and is stated above

Version history

1.3.0 - 2026-10-27

  • Try the demo on the books of a 50-person firm: 55 customers, 500 invoices, 12 employees
  • Use capcompta in German, Spanish and Italian, in Dolibarr and in the keyboard workspace
  • Use capcompta in Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese, in Dolibarr and in the keyboard workspace

1.2.0 - 2026-10-24

  • Read the right day in the ledger, journals and binding from a browser west of the server
  • Get a proposed counterpart that balances the batch even with three-decimal amounts
  • Write each day of the firm's FEC as its own movement when the file reuses an entry number
  • Be told at once that a reference holds a tab, instead of a blocked FEC export months later
  • Never see two lettering groups share one code when two people letter at the same time
  • Get the FEC file named after the year of its period, whatever the server time zone
  • See every bank line while reconciling, including the ones without a creation date
  • Search the binding screen for an underscore or a percent sign as typed
  • Get a clear refusal instead of a huge archive when the attachments weigh more than 1 GB
  • Read the legacy "(paiement)" bank label translated in the bank reconciliation
  • Compare a FEC of the wrong period without the screen choking on the long lists
  • Know exactly what the Bernard suggestion service receives before switching it on
  • Get a clear refusal at activation when SmartAuth is missing or older than 2.0.28
  • Never see a grid edit saved in another column when its column disappears
  • Open from capcompta only the pages of your own Dolibarr, never another site
  • No longer see an error from a chart of accounts list you already left in the settings
  • Get the updated interface at the next load after an upgrade, without days of stale cache
  • Try capcompta on a richer demonstration that runs through every native journal

1.1.0 - 2026-10-21

  • Create an account missing from the chart right from the entry grid, label and type proposed
  • Create in one batch the accounts of a FEC, a trial balance or a pasted list during a takeover
  • Reassign lines already transferred: the document is transferred again and the ledger follows
  • Find from the binding screen every line bound to an account, the 471 for instance
  • Remember the account on every product of a selection, in the field the engine reads
  • Get on purchases the same account proposals as the native page
  • Never change a product or a third party without the native right to edit its card
  • Use Bernard with the registration already done in AssistantComptable
  • Try capcompta on a full demonstration bookkeeping with a keyboard guided tour
  • Keep the keyboard on Refresh, Reload, Close and Reopen while their request runs
  • Keep the keyboard after a refused closing, on the list of blocking anomalies
  • Come back to the line you left in the ledger and in the bank reconciliation
  • No longer see an outdated fiscal year on the dashboard while it loads
  • Know at once that a FEC file is too large, without freezing the tab
  • Save with Ctrl+S even when Caps Lock is on
  • Use the login screen fully in English
  • Leave a page not found even when it is the first page opened
  • Read the journal names in your language on the dashboard, the journals and the filters
  • Read the bank payment labels in your language in the bank reconciliation and journal preview
  • See the whole lettering panel next to the ledger, without it running off the screen

1.0.0
