Order to suppliers turns a validated sales order into what you have to buy. A purchasing grid shows, for each line or each product, what is ordered, shipped, already on purchase orders and in stock, proposes a quantity and a supplier price, and creates the purchase orders or the price requests in one click.

Features
Purchasing tab
on every validated sales order, with the purchase orders and price requests already linked.
Purchasing grid
ordered, shipped, already on purchase orders, physical and virtual stock (per warehouse), proposed quantity, preselected supplier price, lead time and minimum quantity warning.
Three quantity modes
remaining to order, stock shortfall, stock shortfall plus desired stock; supplier packaging rounding.
Supplier prices
the price recorded on the line, then the line buy price, then the cheapest price for the quantity; quantity tiers follow the grid; a supplier and a price can be typed for products without any.
Kits and bills of materials
components appear under their product, with the manufacturing order rules, sub-BOM levels and a components-only mode.
Purchase orders
one draft per supplier, created or completed in a single transaction (nothing is written if a row is invalid), with project, payment terms, delivery date, currency, notes and extra fields carried over.
Price requests
the same rules, then ask several suppliers at once to compare their answers; signed prices come back in the supplier price list and are preselected.
Links
between sales order and purchase order, and between their lines; a Received column follows the receptions.

with the Order to suppliers mass action: one grid, one purchase order per supplier.

Installation
  1. Deploy the zip with Home → Setup → Modules → Deploy an external module.
  2. Enable Order to suppliers.
  3. Give the permissions to your users.
  4. Open the Purchase orders tab of a validated sales order; a user guide with screenshots is in the module setup.
