DoligenWeb turns Dolibarr into a true genealogy management tool, designed to centralize, organize, and easily explore family history.

The module allows you to manage individuals, families, and places through a clear and structured interface. Each individual record gathers the essential information: identity, gender, occupation, family links, spouse, parents, children, notes, attached files, and related historical events.

Thanks to GEDCOM import and export, DoligenWeb makes it easy to recover data from existing genealogy software and also allows you to export information for sharing or reuse in other compatible environments. This makes it an open, practical, and interoperable solution.

The module also includes full Sosa numbering management, ideal for tracking an ancestral line in a structured way. Sosa numbers are displayed directly on individual records and in tree views, making it easy to immediately identify a person’s position within the studied genealogy.

For visual exploration, DoligenWeb provides several display modes:

• an ascending and descending view;
• a boxed tree view for easy generation reading;
• an ancestor fan chart to visualize the distribution of ancestors at a glance;
• filtering by number of generations;
• highlighting of places with color coding, making it easy to spot the family’s key geographic areas.

The module also helps bring historical context to life through a dedicated historical events section. Depending on an individual’s lifetime and the selected country, it is possible to display historical facts and the corresponding heads of state, so that each person can be placed within their historical period.

DoligenWeb also includes practical features for enriching data on a daily basis:

• notes management;
• addition of attached files;
• quick access to family relationships;
• PDF export of genealogy visualizations.
