Dolibarr Application Insights is a plug-and-play module that integrates your Dolibarr instance with Microsoft Azure Application Insights, allowing you to export logs, triggers, and custom events for advanced observability, monitoring, and diagnostics.

This module enables real-time visibility into your Dolibarr environment by seamlessly sending structured telemetry data to Azure, using the Application Insights ingestion API.

🔧 Requirements

  • Dolibarr version: v13+ (tested on v17+)
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • An active Azure Application Insights resource

⚙️ Configuration

To enable export to Azure Application Insights, follow these steps:

1. 🔐 Get Your Application Insights Connection String

  1. Open the Azure Portal
  2. Navigate to: Application Insights → your resource
  3. Click on Properties
  4. Copy the full Connection String

2. 🧩 Configure the Module in Dolibarr

  1. Log in to Dolibarr as an administrator
  2. Go to:
    Home → Setup → Modules → App Insights Log Exporter → Setup
  3. Fill in the configuration fields:
Field Description
Instrumentation Key Paste the value from InstrumentationKey in the connection string
Ingestion Endpoint Paste the value from IngestionEndpoint in the connection string
  1. Click Save

✅ Once saved, the module will automatically begin sending logs and events to Azure Application Insights.

This module also includes features from Email Logs (https://www.dolistore.com/product.php?id=1192&title=email-logs&l=en) and Access Logs (https://www.dolistore.com/product.php?id=1191&title=access-log&l=en) modules, without need to buy that modules.
