DoliWhatsApp Link

DoliWhatsApp Link brings invoice messaging into your Dolibarr workflow. Select a reusable template, review the customer’s phone number and personalized message, and send using the connection configured for your installation.

Choose from three sending methods:

• Chatwoot + Evolution: send invoice PDFs through an existing Chatwoot API inbox connected to Evolution.

• Direct Evolution API v2: send PDFs through your own connected Evolution instance, without Chatwoot.

• WhatsApp Web: open a conversation with the message prepared, then attach the invoice PDF and send it manually. No API credentials are required for this mode.

Create named templates using Dolibarr’s native invoice-context substitution system. Preview and edit the resolved message before sending. Other available codes depend on your Dolibarr version and installed modules.

Keep separate records for each send or intentional resend. API modes provide on-demand status checks, distinguishing provider acceptance from confirmed sending, delivery or reading when receipts are available. Each attempt appears in the invoice’s related events, and subsequent checks update that event.

WhatsApp Web records link preparation only; it cannot verify manual sending or delivery.

Each installation uses its own settings, credentials and templates. The package contains no customer or company data and installs as an external ZIP module without modifying Dolibarr core files.

Requires the Invoices and Events/Agenda modules. API modes require your own compatible Chatwoot or Evolution service. The module does not include hosting or a WhatsApp account and is not an official WhatsApp or Meta product.
