BatchSafe Pro

BatchSafe Pro provides centralized batch and lot status control for Dolibarr, helping companies manage quarantine, inspection, release, rejection and recall workflows directly from the ERP.

The module adds an operational safety layer around lot-controlled products and integrates with LabQC Pro and Warehouse Scanner Pro when those modules are installed.

Main features

Batch and lot status control

Manage each lot using clear operational statuses:

• Available
• In quarantine
• Under inspection
• Released
• Rejected
• Recalled

Status changes are controlled and can require a reason for critical actions such as quarantine, rejection or recall.

Status history and traceability

Every status change is recorded with:

• Previous status
• New status
• User
• Date and time
• Reason
• Note

This provides a clear history of how each lot moved through its quality and warehouse lifecycle.

Zero-stock lot filtering

Lots with zero available stock are hidden by default from Batch Control to keep the operational list clean.

A dedicated option allows users to display zero-stock lots when historical review is required.

LabQC Pro integration

When LabQC Pro is installed, BatchSafe Pro can synchronize lot status with laboratory quality-control workflows.

Typical behavior includes:

• New QC test → Under inspection
• Finalized PASS → Released
• Finalized FAIL / OOS → Rejected

Existing manual critical holds are preserved and are not silently overwritten by automatic synchronization.

Warehouse Scanner Pro integration

When Warehouse Scanner Pro is installed, BatchSafe Pro can protect outbound stock operations according to lot status.

Typical behavior:

• Available → shipping and transfer allowed
• Released → shipping and transfer allowed
• In quarantine → blocked
• Under inspection → blocked
• Rejected → blocked
• Recalled → blocked

Blocked lots can be excluded from FEFO selection, while manually entered blocked lots are still checked before the movement is created.

The blocking status and reason are displayed directly to the warehouse operator.

Receiving stock remains possible even for blocked lots, allowing incoming stock to be recorded without making it eligible for outbound operations.

Inventory and Undo protection

BatchSafe Pro can also protect operations that would reduce stock indirectly.

Examples include:

• Negative inventory adjustments on blocked lots
• Undo operations that would decrease a blocked lot

These operations can be refused when the current lot status does not permit stock removal.

Mobile-friendly Batch Control

BatchSafe Pro includes a responsive Batch Control interface suitable for desktop, tablet and smartphone use.

The mobile interface includes:

• Product and lot search
• Status filtering
• Zero-stock lot filtering
• Compact lot cards
• Clear status badges
• Easy access to lot details and history
