A delivery note that no longer changes on its own

In Dolibarr, the delivery note reads the label and description of each line from the sales order or from the product record, at every display and every print. A sales order corrected afterwards, a renamed product or a product translation is enough to change a delivery note already handed to the carrier.

NsUpdateLibShipping gives the delivery note its own texts: they are copied from the sales order when the delivery note is created, then kept with it.

Texts kept, on the record and in the PDF

• When the delivery note is created, the product reference, the label and the description of each line of the sales order are copied and kept.
• The delivery note record and PDF (all PDF models) display these kept texts.
• When product texts are printed in the customer's language, the delivery note PDF still prints its own texts.
• Existing delivery notes are handled automatically when they are first opened.

Editable, without touching the sales order

• On a draft delivery note, the pencil icon for editing a line offers the "Label" and "Description" fields (rich text), prefilled with the delivery note's texts.
• Saving updates the delivery note in addition to the usual quantities: the sales order is not modified.

Lines in the order you want

• Option "Allow moving the lines in the delivery note (like on an order)".
• Drag and drop with the same handle as on a sales order, including for the titles and comments of the subtotal module and for the free lines of the NsFreeLine module.
• The order is kept on the record and in the PDF, without changing the order of the sales order.

An invoice faithful to the delivery note

• An invoice created from a validated delivery note ("Create Invoice" button or mass action of the shipment list) takes, for each line, the label and description of the delivery note.
• With the moving option, the invoice lines are in the order of the delivery note.

Simple and safe

• No extra input: the copy is automatic.
• Relies on the shipment permissions of Dolibarr; editing is possible only on draft delivery notes.
• No change to the Core of Dolibarr: installation and uninstallation are risk-free.
