DoliPostal — French postal-code assistance

DoliPostal speeds up French address entry while reducing municipality and department errors.

The module integrates with Dolibarr’s native fields: it adds no proprietary business field and modifies no Dolibarr core file. After a five-digit postal code is entered, DoliPostal queries the official French geographic API, displays the matching municipalities, and fills the related department when the option is enabled.

### Privacy

### Compatibility

- Dolibarr 17.x to 24.x. Version 1.0.2 was visually and functionally validated on Dolibarr 17.0.4 and 22.0.4.

- PHP 7.4 or later.

- Outbound HTTPS access to `geo.api.gouv.fr` from the server or browser.

### Installation

1. In Dolibarr, open **Home > Setup > Modules/Applications**.

2. Use the external-module deployment tool to upload `module_dolipostal-1.0.2.zip`.

3. Enable **DoliPostal**.

4. Open the module setup page to configure department autofill and cache duration.
