Gestsuite Multi-Units — Sell by the carton, kilo, meter or bag

One product, several units, an exact stock

Gestsuite Multi-Units lets you sell and buy the same item in every unit of your trade: by the bag of 50 kg or by the kilo, by the carton of 12 or by the bottle, by the roll or by the meter (in steps of 0.5 m), by the bag or by the pallet, ... One reference, one stock, automatic conversions.

Sales

• Unit selector on proposals, orders and invoices, with the own price of each packaging (a carton of 12 cheaper than 12 bottles), per price level and per customer.
• Customers see the unit and price you announced: "2 cartons × 110,000 = 220,000", exact total even without decimals.
• Minimum sale increment (0.5 m, 50 g) with rounding proposals; warning below the minimum price.
• Unit kept from proposal to invoice, shipment and credit note; margin on the cost of the carton.
• PDF models (proposal, order, invoice, delivery note) in the chosen unit.

Purchases and stock

• Purchase price per packaging (bag, carton) on native supplier prices; orders and receptions in bags.
• Stock shown as "4 cartons + 7 bottles (55 bottles)" on cards, lists and warehouses.
• Corrections, transfers and inventory in cartons + loose units in the native inventory.
• Unpacking between two references (open a carton: −1 carton, +12 bottles, value kept).
• Replenishment rounded to the purchase packaging; shipments in the ordered unit.

TakePOS point of sale

• Unit buttons with their price: bottle, pack, carton.
• Own barcode of the carton (DUN-14): one scan adds one carton.
• Label scales: EAN-13 codes with weight or price (configurable prefixes).
• Receipts (browser and ESC/POS printer) in the unit: "3 ctn × 144,000".

Safe for your data

Lines stay stored in the stock unit of the product: Dolibarr stock, reports, manufacturing and API stay exact, no stock movement is intercepted. Enabling changes no existing data; disabling leaves valid documents. No change to the Dolibarr core.

• Automatically tested on Dolibarr 20 and 24 (more than 650 checks per version).
