The “Dolibarr Archiving” module makes it easy to manage the lifecycle of your customer invoices without deleting anything from the database. It adds an “archive” status to distinguish active invoices from closed or old ones, while keeping the full history for accounting and legal needs.

On the customer invoices list, the module adds:

• A display filter: Not archived / Archived / All (top right). This lets you work daily only with active invoices and show archived ones only when needed.

• A mass action in the “Select action” menu: Archive or Unarchive. You simply tick the desired invoices, choose the action, then confirm. A message at the top of the screen shows how many records were updated, and the invoice counter (40, 32, 8, etc.) is refreshed automatically.

• A visual highlight: archived invoices are shaded (yellow background) so you can identify them immediately in the list.

On the invoice card, a specific field indicates the archive status (for example “Archived”), with an “Unarchive” button. From this card, the user can quickly reactivate an archived invoice so it appears again in standard views or can be processed if needed.

This module is especially useful to:

• Lighten screens by hiding old or fully processed invoices.

• Organize fiscal years (for example, archive invoices from a closed financial year).

• Keep a searchable history without cluttering day-to-day work: archived invoices remain accessible, printable and taken into account in reports, according to Dolibarr permissions.

The Dolibarr Archiving module never deletes data: it simply adds a management layer that brings more clarity and control to your documents, while respecting Dolibarr’s traceability and security rules.

Installation

• Download the module archive (.zip) from DoliStore.com
• Go to "Home > Setup > Modules > Deploy an external module" and submit the zip
• The module or theme is then available and can be activated
