MultiCompany turns your Dolibarr installation into a multi-company platform: manage several entities (subsidiaries, brands, white-label clients, multi-client accounting firms…) on a single database, with fine-grained control over what stays separate and what is shared between them.

Why MultiCompany?

Main features

Independent entities

Create as many entities as you need, each with its own company, users, numbering and module configuration. A dedicated superadmin account manages the whole installation and can switch from one entity to another in one click - including in a separate browser tab to work on several entities at once.

Sharing between entities, on demand

Enable, only where you actually need it, the sharing of:

• third parties and contacts, products/services, prices, categories, stock, bank accounts, agendas, members, holidays, expense reports, projects, tickets, knowledge base;
• commercial documents: proposals, orders, customer and supplier invoices, contracts, shipments, receptions, interventions;
• numbering, for a continuous sequence across entities instead of one counter per entity.

Share by element goes further: instead of sharing everything or nothing, choose record by record (third party by third party, product by product, category by category…) which entities it is shared with.

Dedicated access rights on shared data

MultiCompany permissions, independent from those of the Dolibarr modules, apply as soon as a user handles a record shared from another entity: you can for instance allow reading a shared invoice while forbidding any change to it.

Dictionaries customizable per entity

VAT, payment modes and terms, accounting journals and categories, social networks, holiday types, public holidays… For each dictionary, choose whether an entity inherits the main entity's version, has its own independent one, or starts from the main entity's dictionary and can extend or override it.

User management: standalone or centralized

By default, each entity manages its own users. In centralized mode, user and group management is unified on the main entity: a single user can then access several entities, with different permissions in each. The Duplicate permissions button copies, in one click, a template entity's configuration to one or several target entities.

Entity templates

Prepare a template entity (enabled modules, configured sharing, defined permissions) and apply it in one go to every new entity you create - ideal for standardizing the rollout of new clients or subsidiaries.

LDAP authentication and two-factor authentication

Compatible with database or LDAP authentication, with either a global LDAP directory or one specific to each entity. Integrates natively with the Two-Factor Authentication module, including during the automatic hand-off when switching entity.

Performance: Memcached or Redis cache

Sharing resolution is queried on every page: enable a cache (PHP session, Shmop, Memcached or Redis) to speed up installations with many entities or heavy traffic, with a built-in usage statistics panel.

Import from another Dolibarr

Pull data from an existing Dolibarr installation to turn it into a new entity, through a guided wizard.
