SmartSign — Electronic Signature for Proposals

SmartSign adds electronic signature to Dolibarr proposals in a few clicks. Once a proposal is validated, send a secure signing link to your client by email. They sign online from any device — smartphone, tablet or desktop — without any Dolibarr account.

━━━ ✅ eIDAS COMPLIANT ━━━

SmartSign implements the Simple Electronic Signature (SES) as defined in EU Regulation No 910/2014 (eIDAS):

• A SHA-256 cryptographic hash of the original proposal PDF is computed at the moment the signature request is sent and stored in the token — this proves the document was not altered between sending and signing.

• A full audit trail certificate PDF is automatically generated after each signature, containing:
  – Signer identity (name + email)
  – Exact date and time of signature
  – IP address and browser fingerprint
  – SHA-256 hash of the original proposal document
  – Handwritten signature image
  – Certificate integrity hash (SHA-256 of the certificate itself)

• The audit trail certificate is automatically attached to both the signer's confirmation email and the team notification email.

• Dolibarr 17.0 minimum (tested up to 23.x)
• PHP 7.4 minimum
• PHP openssl extension (standard on all hosts)
• GhostScript optional — merged PDF requires it; fallback mode (2 PDFs) works without it
• TCPDF — included in Dolibarr, no additional install needed
