DATEV Export for Dolibarr — Transfer complete accounting data to your tax advisor

Dolibarr offers full double-entry bookkeeping — but a proper DATEV export for working with your tax advisor was missing until now. This module closes that gap: at the push of a button, all journal entries are exported in DATEV EXTF format, together with linked PDF documents and master data. Your tax advisor can import the ready-made export package directly into DATEV — no manual rework, no media break.

What gets exported?

  • Posting batch — all journal entries for the selected period as DATEV EXTF CSV, with automatically assigned BU keys, document reference, service date and VAT ID.
  • Documents — linked PDF invoices as a ZIP archive with DATEV XML, ready for import via DATEV Belegtransfer. Documents are automatically matched to their bookings in DATEV.
  • Master data — debtors and creditors (addresses, VAT ID) as an additional CSV file.

What does the module do behind the scenes?

  • Automatically detects customer invoices, supplier invoices, payments and manual bookings, and assigns the correct BU keys per tax rate
  • Handles DATEV Automatikkonten (e.g. 8400 = Revenue 19%) and sets BU keys to ensure error-free import into DATEV
  • Exports credit notes correctly as Generalumkehr (reversal bookings)
  • Supports Reverse Charge (EU and non-EU) as well as OSS for EU B2C sales
  • Generates a validation report with control totals and notes after each export

No paid DATEV subscription required

The module uses the classic DATEV exchange format (EXTF) as a file-based export. No subscription to paid online interfaces such as “DATEV Unternehmen online” is required.
