Fountain Drinks + QR

Self-serve fountain drinks, without the free refills

For use with Pepsi Spire dispensers. When a TakePOS sale is paid, every fountain drink on the bill gets its own QR code. The customer scans it at the Spire, which pours that one drink in the size that was paid for. Depending on the store's licence, it can also limit the drink to zero-sugar or turn off flavor shots.

No more "small cup, large pour", and no sugared drinks poured from a zero-sugar ticket, which matters where sugar taxes apply.

• Works offline. The Spire checks each code itself with the store's licence key. It needs no network, no cloud service and no connection to the till.
• Every way TakePOS prints. With browser printing, the codes go in the receipt footer, one page per drink. With ESC/POS receipt printers, each drink gets a native QR code on its own cut slip. A "Drink codes" button on the TakePOS screen shows them full size, to scan from the screen or reprint.
• Reprints are safe. Codes are issued once per invoice, so a reprinted receipt shows the same codes.
• No silent failures. If a paid sale is missing a code (no licence, or a size the licence doesn't allow), the TakePOS screen says so in red.
• Audit trail. Each code's ID and issue time are kept with the invoice. The Spire logs the same ID on every pour.
• Simple setup. Upload the licence file, then set a size (Small, Medium, Large) on each fountain drink product.
• English, French and Czech.

What you need
A Spire dispenser and a store licence (config.license.json), from your PepsiCo bottler or from Cepuder (info@cepuder.com). The codes only work on Spire dispensers set up with the same licence.
