Consignment sales

Farm shop, makers' shop, local store: consigned products belong to their consignors. At the end of the month you need to know what was sold for each of them, compute your commission and issue the invoices. Dolibarr sells these products easily, but does not produce this statement.

Consignment sales adds a "Consignor" field on products and a commission rate on consignors (overridable per product). Sales are read from your customer invoices and the TakePOS register; credit notes are deducted.

One click on "Create the statement" takes all the consignor's sales not yet settled, up to the chosen date, and prepares as drafts:

• the consignor's supplier invoice (their sales, per product) and your commission invoice;
• or, as you prefer, a single supplier invoice net of the commission.

Each sale is settled only once, even when an older invoice is validated late. The statement card details every sale and can be printed; while the invoices are drafts, the statement can be deleted. "Consignment" tab on the consignor's card: consigned products, sales to settle, statements.

The VAT of the drafts is the one Dolibarr suggests (consignor subject to VAT or not, product rate): check it with your accountant. Interface in French, English and German. Compatible with Dolibarr 19 to 24. Written and tested by Dolix (dolix.fr).
