SmartLines Import

Search and import lines between invoices, orders and quotes in Dolibarr.

🔍 Multi-criteria search

A global search field simultaneously queries: document reference, customer reference, customer name, product, description, private/public notes and serial numbers*.
Each field can be enabled or disabled in the settings. Text-type extrafields are automatically detected.

📋 Inter-document import

From the sheet of a draft document, an "Import lines" button opens a search modal. Select the desired lines and import them with one click.
Purchase prices (HT), VAT, discounts and serial numbers are copied automatically.

✏️ Manual import

Two modes available:

  • Copy/Paste from a spreadsheet (Excel, LibreOffice)
  • File import CSV, TXT or XLSX

The column separator and encoding (UTF-8, Latin-1, MacRoman) are automatically detected.

✅ Import simulation

Before final import, a detailed preview displays the status of each line:

  • 🟢 Valid — ready to import
  • 🟠 Warning — importable with info (ex: ref. not found → free line)
  • 🔴 Rejected — blocking error (missing qty, invalid price…)
