The Dalfred module integrates an AI assistant directly into your Dolibarr. Ask questions, create documents, generate reports — all in plain language, without navigating through menus. • PDF: supplier invoices, contracts, received quotes — Dalfred reads the content (with OCR on Anthropic) and can create the corresponding Dolibarr invoice or order
• Images: receipts, document photos, screenshots — analysed by vision models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini)
• Text: .txt, .md, .log — to share notes, CSV exports, logs

Limits: 10 MB per file, 5 files per message. Temporary storage for 7 days, then automatic purge.

You create commands in plain language ("create a command /invoices-month that lists my customer invoices for the current month"), from the Knowledge page, or from the admin. Visibility is private or shared. Free-form arguments after the name: /invoices-month Smith filters on customer Smith. A built-in /help command always lists what's available.

The richer your Dolibarr becomes, the more powerful Dalfred gets — with no modifications required.

🔌 Turn Your Dolibarr into a Remote MCP Server (External Access)

New (v2.27.0). Dalfred can now expose your Dolibarr as a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol, Streamable HTTP transport), secured with OAuth 2.1. Enable it from the "External MCP access" admin tab (off by default), then connect your Dolibarr to a claude.ai connector, Claude Code, the Anthropic API, or any compatible MCP client.

Your Dolibarr data becomes queryable from the outside, by the AI of your choice, with no copy-paste or export. With a claude.ai connector, the user signs in with their Dolibarr account and grants consent — no key to copy. Every request honors the user's Dolibarr permissions.

2. Enable it (the setup wizard opens automatically).
3. Enter your Anthropic / OpenAI / Gemini / Mistral API key, or point to your Ollama server.
